What a beautiful day!! The windows are open and the air is cool and sweet.
We've measured the front windows and the hubby went to order new blinds. After 15 years, the ones we have are cracking from sun exposure and hard to raise up and down.
I have the crock pot cooking up dinner. Homemade Beef Stroganoff.
We put out the second woodpecker house. Hopefully that flying squirrel won't come back.
I ran our fierce beastie with the hose. She loves to chase the stream. Quite obsessive over it. Then after she's good and tired, I wash and wax her off the steps so she can't resist too much.
We went on the deck to enjoy the sunshine and the cool breeze, our first venture there of the season. We just sit and love God's creation around us in the small woods outback.
Now it's time for the hubby's nap with the dog on the couch while I putter around doing this or that. I can hear the bird's song coming in the windows. Probably an hour or so before I have to drain and thicken the sauce for the stroganoff and brown up some rolls. Then I'll fill his belly proper. Might make up some fresh rice krispies treats too.
