Do you think God is more likely to bring me a virgin if I'm a virgin myself?

I see his point....Its not such a bad attitude.

There's no escaping that virginity is a physical thing, as well as spiritual.

I wouldn't marry someone who isn't a virgin, not just because its a 'christian thing', but because I just wouldn't like it. I just would not want to be with a woman who has had sex with another man, even if she regretted it.

Nothing wrong with that.
 
Well, to me having a husband being as much virgin like me was very important to me. I wanted me and my husband to experience our wedding night ect like the first time for both, never been having anyone else before. Well, I never had a boyfriend(except of one online but we never met, so that doesnt counts to much I think, and it did end after a short time), he did have had only one girlfriend in his life, though.... But he remained virgin.

I beleive that God will give you a virgin if you just let Him know about it. Though if she isn't, He might use it to change you more. There is still some things that disturbs/ed me about my now husband, but still, although we might not always think everything as fair, and we might not always understand God's will in happenings in our lives and othersl, still, God is in control, and His plan is to use everything that wasn't good nor fair to us for something much much better, and also for our growth in Him.

The best advice, is that you pray and tell God what you wish in your future wife. He knows what is best for you getting. :)
 
You can pray to God for the wife that he chose for you to please be a virgin & strong believer =)
Pray He answers our prayers =)
Talk to him about what you want in a girl =)

I thought in a very similar way as you until about 2 years ago.

The fact is I am 50 and am not married and have only had 2 girlfriends, briefly.

The last one, quite reasonably ask me why, considering I am 50 I do not own my own home. I have no answer to that.

Sometimes he does n others he does not. Just chase hard after God n 1 day you'll b alongside of ur future bride who also is chasing hard after jesus bc n Gods eyes shell b pure n holy bc she's adorned prepared and sanctified n seperated herself for Him and YOU!! My two friends got married-he was a virgin-she wasnt-but God restored her so much bc she chased HARD after God that u could NEVER tell and its a beautiful testimony bc even tho ppl may b physically pure what bout the heart?? Jer. 17:9** God looks @ the heart...if u really love who God pairs u up with; n the end u won't care bc ull see her thru Gods eyes who sees thru the SPOTLESS Blood of the Lamb n that's what shell b; regardless of her physicality..question is..r U prepping urself?? Fall N love w Jesus all over again and everything else will fall N2 place-peace & rest b yours-hellynn My peace I give unto u not as the world gives...quit stressn and just start restn..for those who believe have entered n2 the rest of God..hebrews..

I think that you juss need to pray about who God wants you to be with and juss trust him that he will find the right person.
 
I was a virgin until my 20th birthday or rather a week after, I had kept it all that time according to God's word but after a series of events something within me snapped and won't go into specifics here. All my friends were not virgins and at the time I was going through a difficult period and before the week was over I had gotten 'laid' by a friend who was trying to be nice (birthday gift?). Though i've had many sexual partners since then I have also come back to God and therefore had been washed pure in His sight and haven't engaged in ANY sexual activity for quite a while now which (I must say) has been a rather hard journey thus far!

What am I trying to say? I regret losing my virginity to a random that I did not love and though my life is full of regrets that is one thing I really do regret, I wish I had have kept it for my true love because though it would be easy for me to lie to my future wife and say I was still a virgin my being a male, before God I couldn't lie to my wife especially regarding sexual engagement. So hold onto it for as long as possible, I wish I had.

I dont see how people are being so rude & sarcastic about this.
It is good to stay a virgin until marriage. Says so in the bible,

Those being sarcstic you should be ashamed of yourself.
God can do ANYTHING & if he wants a virgin he can pray to for one, Will he marry a virgin that is in God hands & no one else should be being sarcastic about that.
 
Well the older you get, the harder it will be to find a virgin. I don't think it's wrong to want that, but at some point you may need to open your mind up a little bit more. If you're 40 and still not married, it will probably be very difficult to find someone who's still a virgin. Furthermore, some of the most godly people that I know didn't get saved until they were in their late 20's or early 30's. They weren't virgins when they got saved, but once they became Christians, they completely turned their lives' around. I would be more concerned with that than with finding someone who's a virgin.

Lol i dont think we would have any way of knowing He works in mysterious ways he could ......not sure if its something you can pray for though O-O im kinda stuck on this subject lol
 
To answer the question, but from a reverse angle, I'm not a virgin. I kind of would rather marry a girl who wasn't a virgin, either. Not that there is anything wrong with sexual purity (cause there isn't, and to those that have maintained it, keep it up!) But it just doesn't seem fair to her if she's one and I'm not, y'know. A girl who held on to her purity deserves a guy who did the same.
