Oh my! Thank God you are safe. I live in Indiana and once I slept thru a BIG tornado because I was home alone...and my cell phone was on silent so no one could call me...The tornado didn't hit me...but it destroyed a neighboring town. Very scary. Indiana has lots of tornadoes. My mother told me she survived on in 1972...she was pregnant with me. Scary tornadoes...ugh

Tornadoes are rare up here....but we did get one a few years ago... I was driving back home from college through a big storm. The drive is on an old route that goes through a lot of farming towns....well I looked to my left and out in the potato field I thought I saw a tornado....trees were down everywhere....I made it home and apparently a tree came crashing down blocking the road like right after I passed it...My mother's friend had to take the back way to get to her house, because the road was blocked....this happened like 5 minutes after I drove through that area....The Lord was watching over me...I have had a lot of close calls....

Oooh FridaysChild....the stick poking thing is marvelous! Lol...I did that to a dreadful dinner date I had five years ago! HeeHee...Good morning loved ones! How are you?
Good morning. :)

Heh heh, yea the stick poking of dead things. Like dead frogs when we were kids.

Home alone today with the windows open. A bit chilly but trying to take advantage of the fresh air before the humidity comes permanently. We have several backyard bird houses cleaned and ready for occupancy. The chickadees have chosen a house and built a nest but it's still a bit cold for any egg laying. The blue birds usually show up in early May.

How r you today?

Yes! Kodiak! I know exactly what you mean! Tornadoes are very frightening! True story...regardless if I'm believed or not,...I don't mind because I know its true! During the Indiana tornadoes of 1972...my mother was pregnant with me, and my grandmothers farm was destroyed. Everyone survived...grandpa rebuilt the farm...but my true story is..when grandmas living room was destroyed..her end table remained the only thing standing with her Holy bible on it. This was true because...mom showed me the photo in 1977 and then..of course my mean aunt kept the photo and lost it! Ugh....but I saw that photo with my own eyes. My grandmother was a fine Christian woman!

Lol...thank you dearest! You know how it is FridaysChild...some spiritual experiences we see or feel in our lives from God. If you tell some people will call you a liar. You know how that is FridaysChild...some things I just would keep silent. But that was a true story tho. :)

Even a few Christians might think we're being a bit fanatical or emotionally sensational with such things. But I've seen some personal things done in my life too so this doesn't surprise me. They're my little treasures I keep concerning my First Love = Jesus. I tell my hubby, sorry honey but you're not my first love. He just laughs.

That is amazing.....I think their was a story a few years back of a soldier who kept a Bible in his shirt pocket, right in front of his heart....apparently it stopped a bullet...He kept the Bible too

Isn't that the makings of a Psychopath?

I know someone very personally who has over time perfected manipulating others (me, for one) to the point that one moment they're compassionate and then the next they are trying to cheat you out of something. I no longer associate with this sort of toxic person anymore. Any talk of Jesus is merely pearls to swine. But I learned that you can love someone and not like them at the same time.

that's a whole sermon right there! :)

i see myself saying that to my husband... if i get married that is lol
When I think back, I remember the Spirit speaking to me about getting married. I didn't want to at that time. But God gave me up because, well, I wasn't always a good girl. Now I treasure those 3 and 1/2 years of just me and Jesus. I'm a different person because of that private time of what I call just dating Jesus. Many, many times I still sneak off to just be with my Jesus, my first Love.

we actually had this exact conversation in my criminal law class....serial killers typically "practice" on animals in their childhood....not everyone who does this though becomes a serial killer....I have seen manipulation a few times...it is sad.

Agreed. There are different levels of being a Psychopath. And they do NOT necessarily have to kill living creatures or people to be one. Most of us have some very small level of psychopath from our fallen nature.

In knowing 'this person' well who've mentioned, I took an online test for Psychopath in the understanding that most online tests have a margin of error. In taking the test for myself = I got a 14 where as my daughter had a 15 because she likes roller coasters. But in taking this test for 'this person' I've been mentioning, they received a 78 out of 100. Even in understanding a margin of error, they still came out for extreme.

I didn't either. My Daughter showed me.

I could see that - a 5. Hence, the gentleman we see in you.

Above 30 huh? Yea well, that person is rather bad. A little less cruel to family members than to strangers.
