Just a thought that keeps showing up over the years, but I was thinking about the devil coming as an angel of light. He has to appear as something good, like the cults, that mix lies into the truth. It was the similar to a thought the other day, mentioning the Pope wouldn't get much ring kissing, if he came with horns and a pitchfork.
Here are the questions, rhetorical questions, though, not looking for answers, perse. Is it not tacit admission by Satan that he can't stand, that he is repulsive in his own right, that he must fake appearing to have the things of God? It's like Satanists. They love life, love carnality, love the things of the world, but hate God, the God that created all they feed on. Isn't it all just cosmic, knuckle-headed hypocrisy, of not even the slightest intellectual integrity, to need, even enjoy, the things of the One you hate? If one enjoys and uses the things of God to sustain, isn't that admission that God is good? Seems to me the evil even sing His praises, unwittingly.
That's all, folks, for what it's worth.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
