What does it mean when loved ones are in our dreams (past loved ones & loved ones as in people that are alive that you love but may not be in your life ) ?what are my dreams trying to tell me

It doesn't mean anything.
Don't look for meaning in things that don't mean anything. At the very most it may just mean you miss them.

They're "trying to tell you" those loved ones are still in your heart.
