Its easy to tell if a person is a True Christian and has the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit. It is also easy to tell if a person is a Roman Catholic.

True Christians have the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit where as Roman Catholics do not have the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Its like day and night to tell them apart.

Just look at the Theology the Roman Catholics teach and look at the "works" they do. Roman Catholics will teach their UNWRITTEN Traditions as Truths from God and they are very heavy into working for their Salvation so they can boast before God.

yes, Ken, for those who are alive, they can tell easily, with no effort.(yahweh's promise, LIFE)

for those who are worldly, they can tell if someone is following Jesus or the pope, also easy. just ask.

someone deceived always says they trust the pope, or that the pope is okay(in any way).(he's not, ever)

someone saved never says they trust the pope.

easy.

They are not denominations, they are churches following the NewTestament pattern.
Pattern? That's a new one. Jesus came down to establish a...........pattern.

Don't get me wrong here I'm just learning, ok V?

this is in other threads, or belongs there. although the rcc is opposed to jesus and his pattern, his life, his people, his assembly, his way, HIS WORD .... so noting that along with this thread's purpose is fine "rcc is heresy"

no doubt. no exception. no redemption. (for the rcc)

No He came down to fashion a living church of true believers in Him. But they necessarily have to follow some pattern of worship. And that pattern was of independent churches worshiping freely under the guidance of the Holy Spirit under the local leadership..

And here I thought Christ came to reconcile us back to God. To save us from our sins. The true church universal is comprised of lively stones, believers who have been born again. Christ never established any organizational structure for the church unless you consider Christ as the head and us as the parts that make up the body.

The Church was one church in the book of Acts. St. Paul wrote to stay with what the Apostles taught, whether by word of mouth or letter. St. Paul stressed emphatically to not listen to anyone that taught anything different. Sounds like one church

Yet John tells us in Revelation of seven churches throughout Asia minor. Seven types of churches. The Epistles speak of many churches. One Spirit, one body and one head who is Christ yet many local assemblies.

Don't get hung up on assemblies and organizations just follow and serve Christ.

As far as i know, the Eucharist was established on Holy Thursday, aka The Lord's Supper, and also the Mass. If you read about the assemblies in the book of Acts, it is the Mass virtually unchanged to this day. This is what the Apostles taught about how to worship God. I have never read a scripture that said churches can be independent. The seven churches in Rev are an excellent example about what happens when you go independent

Frankly, the notion the gospel program was to have an office, with somebody who wears a big hat, sits on a throne and gets bowing and ring kissing, who's called God, that is, "Holy Father," and only one true church at Rome: it's senseless, as you'd have to conclude the Lord was remiss to not spell the Roman cult out. Even moreso, the Bible indicates all things the opposite, like, as you mention, the seven churches, all of standing, which the Lord did explicitly mention, sans Rome. The Catholic dog just don't hunt.

I don't know why you keep saying it, and you will, and here is your answer. Its the same answer yesterday, today, and tomorrow, We Dont Worship Mary! We dont put her over God!!!!!This is from a practicing Catholic and not some silly website!

BUT mwc68 you DO Worship Mary. You Worship Mary the minute you Pray to her. We are to ASK others to pray for us we are NOT to Pray to others to ask them to Pray for us.

The minute you address Mary you are Praying to her because she is dead and in the grave. I understand this is hard for you to understand.

You have been deceived by the corrupted Roman Catholic Church into believing God says its not a sin to "ask Mary" to pray for you. By praying to Mary you have made Mary your god! We are told we are NOT to have any other gods in our lives.

You are and Idolator mwc68. Which if you keep on doing it will send you to the Lake of Fire.

It does not matter if you put Mary above or below God, the problem is you are still following her as your god. It does not matter how much below God you put Mary because you still are following her as your god which is a Mortal sin that will keep you out of Heaven.

In the Prayer Jesus gave us we start out by saying, " Our Father".

In the Prayer to Mary you Roman Catholics start out by saying, "Hail Mary".

Both are saying the same thing.

Therefore you ARE Worshiping Mary as your god and if you keep on doing it God cannot allow you to enter into Heaven.
