Im saying you don't need Jesus anymore. You've arrived at a sinless life. You don't sin anymore. Just a mistake here and there. I'm trying to wrap my head around how mistakes are different than sin to a perfect God though.....but however you wanna spin it.

You should repent for deceiving yourself into believing you are perfected in your fleshly existence. That's all Im saying. I am no judge of the state of your heart....only that you say that you don't sin anymore....which is unscriptural pride driven hogwash.
No doubt.....if we say that we have no sin (present tense) we are deceived and the truth is not in us....if we say that we have not sinned (past tense) we make HIM and liar and the word is NOT in us!

Mistake - Something that cannot be corrected.
Error - Something that can be corrected.

I didn't say I am perfect. I am just beyond the law of sin and man. I am in the Spirit and I let God guide me.

To clarify....I don't don't think about sin on a person level very often. I am not anxious or fearful of it. I just listen to God.
So Adam and Eves error, sin, boneheaded mistake wasn't corrected thru Jesus? You must be in the hairdressing business and split ends are your specialty. (Sorry, I like humor to illustrate absurdity.....forgivee me for I have sinned.)

"Therefore there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death." (Romans 8:1,2.)

I live in the Spirit. I do not lie, I do not cheat, I do not steal. I do not covet my neighbors house or keep any other gods or idols. I do not think about sin on a personal level very often. Some people may sit, and try to nit pick and judge me on every thing I do...like they did Jesus. (Matthew 11:19) I am obedient and meek before God. How about you?

I love Jesus and desire to serve Him everyday. It is a struggle to offer my body as a living sacrifice because I wrestle with my flesh every single day. I say to myself as often as I think of Him... dear Jesus reveal to me the things I do that offend you and break your heart so that I may be more and more like you. I have never claimed equality with Jesus like you just did. I'll let Him determine my value vs me telling Him what my value is like you seem eager to do.

and I will add this....I am not meek enough before all an powerful perfect God so I thank Him and give Him all praise and glory for turning His eye from my imperfection and allowing me to share in Jesus' perfection

I do not claim equality with Jesus. It is not a contest to see whose male member is biggest, nor do I want to be Jesus or put on the same platform as him.

Love is a two way street. What have you done for God lately? I grew up in Washington State. After I left the Army, I moved back there for two years. I was not happy. I received money to go back to school from the VA, I could go anywhere I wanted in the country. I chose to go to Tennessee. I didn't know anyone in Tennessee at that time on a personal level. I had never been to Murfreesboro, TN before. I packed up everything I could fit in the back of my F150, and just drove. I didn't have a job or a place to live down there. I just decided I would figure it all out as I went. I leaned on God.

I ended up being arrest multiple times. Once because I was homeless for a week and sleeping in my Truck. Once because I walked home from a bar, and the police officer didn't like me. This is the USA. We have a God Given Right to the Pursuit of Happiness. Tennessee State Constitution Section 3: I have the right to worship almighty God as my conscience dictates, and the state has not right to stop me or make any law that would abridge that right. I chewed out some police officers and judges. I was willing to sit in jail over principle. I didn't care if they shot me, in fact, I was hoping they would. I know where I am going. I was bearing my cross. I might still be in jail if the veterans groups had not of talked me down.

God likes zeal.

Then I stopped going to class at MTSU University, and started working for God full time even though I was not sure how I would make a living. I was going to figure it out. I started posting things on Twitter God was showing me.

what I have I done for Jesus lately? I think the other day when my stepson screamed profanity at the top of his lungs at me and as my body shook with anger I told him I loved him and desired the best things for him. I layed down my pride because I wanted to do what was right in Jesus eyes.

How have you turned the other cheek in your examples? Sounds like you are your own biggest fan.

That is your son, and not an evil person. He needs discipline and some hard love at times, and not this Post-Modern Mush god nonsense. I Love my Enemies and Pray for those who persecute me. I pray that they learn to Joyfully endure trials, as I have, so they can grow in faith and patience, to become perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. (James 1:2-4)

What have I done for God lately you ask?
I have tried to help a mixed up young man on CC to see the error of his ways, even though he has rejected my help.

Great. What is the Spirit telling you to do now?

This is the way I would pray:

Lord God, I am your servant Adam. I thank you for all you have done for me. Please give me wisdom and understanding, so that I may better serve you and bring you Glory. In the name of the Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

A good prayer.

But understanding comes through prayer and STUDY.
To properly study is to first lay aside what you believe and then prayerfully study His word.
You will never know the truth if you are not willing to let the WORD change you mind.
Go back and study what Dcon posted to start with.

You seem to be having a difficult time. I will pray that God helps you and your understanding.

Im happy to break the news to you that marriage and raising children is as close you will get this side of heaven to standing inside the refining Fire of Gods presence. It's a good thing God lets us take baby steps as we walk towards Him.

I refuted, and I will continue to refute what he posted, and the spirit in which he posted it. The Bible is a double edged sword. It is full of valid arguments they may seem contradictory, the Truth is up the middle. Like Catholics crossing themselves.

Reading the Bible is not enough. You will not understand it unless God opens your eyes in the Post Modern World. God is Reason. The Bible takes a degree of critical thinking to understand.

For example, Satan is a liar. He works to twist the Truth and put people into the darkness of a cave. Man grows complacent, and becomes used to the darkness knowing little else. Jesus Christ is the Guiding light out of the darkness and into the God's Kingdom. At the coming of the son of man, it will be like in the days of Noah, that is, people will be busy going to school and work and living as they were, not knowing anything is wrong, or the evil at their gate.

Amen brother. I have been at it for 52 plus years now and it doesn't get any easier with time.

Just a Bridegroom looking for a Bride. Do you know what it is like to wake up one day in Post Modern America, and find out you are a 30 year old Levite?

Post #110 is what I was responding to.
So you are saying that a study of God's word is not necessary to know the Truth.
The Bible says we are to try the spirits. To try the spirits is by the Word.
If the spirit is leading you to deny or not believe the Word that spirit is of Satan and not of God.
If you refuse to study the Word and allow the Word to lead you to understanding, than there is no hope for you.
I pray that God will lead you to the Truth or will STOP you from leading others into you hersey.

What I am saying is that there are people who study the Bible there whole life times. They are teachers of theology and are of the flesh and not of the Spirit, and what they teach is often poison.

I never said that I refuse to study The Word, or that I have not. Why are you so eager to believe that I don't?
