well my experience is that God does reveal Himself through His word every time. That is why He has given us His word. The Holy Spirit takes His word and applies it to our hearts.

you have the wrong idea about prophets. The main job of prophets was not to foretell but to forthtell. They had a word from God for their generation. prophets today do the same from God's word

That word heresy is wrong as to what i do. i believe you listen to heresy. So where does that leave us?

I believe in One God, the Father Almighty. I believe in One Lord Jesus Christ, the Father's only begotten Son. I believe in the Holy Spirit who along with the Father and Son is adored and glorified. I believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God given to us by the Church.

Ok, we can use your terminology. He forth-told of things in general that would corrupt the world. am i missing something?

seems like putting his revelation into practice is far greater than just reading about it. this is where we may disagree again.

the last five words spoiled the impression. GOD gave the word of God, not the church. It was distributed among independent churches from the beginning. It did not need a hierarchy for it to be formed

are u joking. I would have to cite most of what's in the Prophets in the Old Testament. Read Jeremiah through. that'll give you a start

Because you said to brother valiant it is heresy for a church doesn't have bishop. If it true then heresy for a church doesn't have prophet.

I see. Well Valiant isn't a heretic. I take it back I don't even know him or you for that matter. God knows.

It just seems different to me to not really have a bishop, as titled a bishop and as revered as a bishop you know. I'm Eastern Orthodox, we have always had a bishop.

Yup, doesn't have a bishop is not heresy, in the same token, doesn't have a prophet in the church.

Prophet is God choice, not human decision. If God doesn't give a prophet in our church what can we do.

I believe real bishop must choose by God like apostle. Not by human. Human my install a bishop, but we don't know for sure that it is God choice.

For me, a title is not very important. God said by the fruit you no the tree not by title.

So close and yet so far. The word of God came not by the church but by God. God by His divine will and determination gave us His word to know Him, to know His truth and to know his will for our lives.

God is interested in even the one lamb who goes astray.
