My sister couldn't get pregnant and tried everything. One night she had a dream; she was crying to Jesus, "You know I believe in You and You know how badly I want children. Why can't I have them?" Jesus smiled and said, "Have faith, daughter, you're going to have many children."

Today she can field her own basketball team with her children. Praise God!!!

There are about 28 or so precious and semi-precious stones in the world.
Of these 28, exactly the 12 (!) that Heavenly Jerusalem is built with and that represent the 12 tribes are anisotropic and reflect all the colors of the rainbow beautifully when pure light passes through them...

Interestingly, neither diamond, rubies or garnets are mentioned. Turns out, it’s because they are isotropic, when Pure light passes trough them, there is no beauty at all.

So the beauty of a stone is determined by the pure light...............

Yeah this is right. You just know. I believe your dream has significance, its obvious it does going by what you said. Continue to ask the Lord for its interpretation, He doesn't give us dreams so they cannot be understood. You don't have anyone in your life you trust and can talk about this?

Not really...my mom...I don't understand how these so called "Christ-like Christians",can make a mockery out of a dream that is believed to be from God. I didn't ask for your opinions. I asked if anyone knew the significance of gemstones and if their symbolic...just think,if my dream was from God..your mocking how God speaks to one of his servants through a dream? really? Are you serious? Hey if I wasn't getting dreams or visions, I would be a little on the jealous side too...make it a little more obvious.

the ephod and breastplate are 2 different things the ephod was made of linen, the breastplate was made of gold (exo. 28) the color blue in the Hebrew represents obedience and points to our Savior, he was obedient unto death even the death of the cross, your dream may be showing you his desire for you to seek His will and to study deeper into the meanings of the sanctuary in the wilderness, (it points to our Savior) there are deep and amazing things to be discovered in the study these things... most all but ignore the Old Testament not realizing that the new can be far better understood with this backround knowledge, and keep in mind when Paul wrote Timothy 2:15 the NT did not even exist yet, so what scriptures was he telling him to study? hope this helps

Well I guess I'll tell the whole dream...everything was so bright and colorful. I'm standing outside and I'm with a bunch of people...all of a sudden Jesus appears in the sky..I said look,it's Jesus! As I'm pointing up at him,but no one saw him...they said"where",I don't see him...I was so frustrated because they couldn't see him. Jesus appears again and once again no one could see him..by the 3rd time he appears when I'm in the car with a friend and I'm telling him to look and when I look up at Jesus he's holding a light blue gem over his head at me...and that was it.

It could be something then. The reason I asked was because after receiving the anointing of the Holy Spirit back in 2007 I had a dream/vision. I say dream/ vision because it started out in a dream and then went into a vision.

Anyway, in the dream I was looking up at a clear blue sky with white fluffy clouds when suddenly the clouds parted and I saw a golden star. The golden star looked like the Star of David, and on it was writing that looked like Hebrew, but I don't know Hebrew so I couldn't read what it said.

But as I was looking at the golden star suddenly I heard an audible voice that woke me out of sleep. The voice said "This is the sign of the Son of man" and I woke and went right into a vision. The vision was real to life, as if I was there in person. In the vision I was standing outside at night looking up at the sky, and there appeared a very bright and glorious star.

The star was 100 times brighter than any other in the sky, and it was a blueish green color illuminated like from within. I was in awe of the star for several seconds admiring it's beauty then suddenly the vision just left me. I truly believe this vision was from God, as I also believe this is the sign of the Son of man as the voice said.

This is also the reason I have the star Avatar for my picture, even though the one pictured is not exactly the same color as the one I saw in the vision.

It was huge...i watched how it disappeared before my eyes. Rev.22 Jesus says behold I'm coming quickly,then he refers himself as the bright and morning star! Amazing!

Not to mention His first coming was signified by "His Star"...

And given the law was ordained of angels in the hand of a mediator (who declared his arrival in various plcaes) even as the angel (called mine angel) in Exodus as Jesus would also send (in Revelation) would bring them (then) to the place that was prepared. Which again is shown as unto Jesus Christ (even our salvation) who was he that was prepared before the face of all peoples (and over which house) the star (which was called "his star") would stand above (he being made lower then the angels for the suffering of death). Would seem to mesh a little better given they read a star as a sign but Jesus speaks of the clouds in the heavens there in that verse.

Like two different signs there.

There has been debate on that, and speculation but by a star that moves around lol

Recall that one debate we were going back and forth on, I dont know if you recall that, but it was with the eastern orthodox on this one, and they were at odds with the CC, and they were sticking with the star (as a literal star) until someone choked up one of their teachings and earlier icons depicting that star as an angel (as was understood at some time) then the guy changed his mind but not before then.

Folks will differ on it, I have no idea how they could know by a star that he was born, but it was "his" star and it helped guide them to him.

Its not really here or there, but that "his star" and "his angel" (mine angel) and the east and all that jazz and how other scriptures speak seem to speak alike.

Well Jesus also is called the morning star the day star rises where? Then you could think, oh yeah, and how we are his house (how ironic) Bethlehem (house of bread) Christ in you (that sort of thing). The great cloud of witnesses being glorified in you as well. Like those things (very cool I think).
