I have one that I want to remove but I don't see anything that will allow me to delete it.

If it's in a thread you only have 5 minutes to edit a post. After that you're stuck unless it contains personal information or against the rules.

If the gif is your profile picture or avatar, go to "settings" and in the list to the left, choose either "edit avatar" or "edit profile picture." Make sure you click the "save changes" button when you're done.

No, I'm talking about managing my attachments. I want to delete a gif.

Didn't find anything that said lounge on the page where my post is listed.

the Lounge is a chat room. That's where the mods are. Click the blue "chat now" button near the top of the log in page and check to see if any are online.

Again, mods won't delete things unless they contain private information or against the rules. If you simply change your mind they will leave it untouched.

Thanks for your help everyone. Guess I'm stuck with it. I wonder why the techs can't come up with a way to delete attachments that are no longer wanted?

I'm sure they could, but they don't want things removed from threads to prevent it from affecting the flow of the thread.
Nor do they want to be inundated with people asking for every little thing to be changed or removed.
The site owner is the only person that makes money from the site, all the mods/admins are volunteers. As it is they keep pretty busy, so adding one more thing for the volunteers to do would be a bit much.

Just use white out ;)
