BTW, l'm not judging him as a person.

For all l know, he might juggle for kids at a hospital on the weekends.
His girlfriend might think he's the funniest man on the planet.
He may build homes for the poor with his own money.

It's what he is teaching on CC....that l and others are concerned about.

I'm not either. His intentions are good. Misguided but good.

No, dear sir. Most here who believe in some kind of "Sin and still be Saved" doctrine hold to one of the deadly 7 beliefs.

#1. Future Sins are Forgiven (Which takes away any real lasting consequence to sin).
#2. Sin only leads to Physical Death and Not Spiritual Death.
#3. You can be out of Fellowship with God and still be Saved (Which is no doubt because of sin).
#4. Not Confessing one Serious Sin before you die will not Send You to Hell.
#5. Once a Son Always a Son or You Cannot be Unborn.
#6. Sin Cannot break the seal of the Spirit.
#7. We are sinners and nobody can be perfect (and nor can they stop sinning ever). In other words, one can be a slave to their sin. Yet, Jesus said to the Pharisees, if you sin, you are a slave to sin. Jesus was not speaking favorably of the Pharisees here.

Anyways, I contend that these beliefs above lead to a doctrine of immorality and not holiness. For such beliefs above will lead one to think they can sin and still be saved. Oh sure, they are not going to be an axe murderer, etc. But they will abide in what they believe to be some kind of minor sin, and it is okay with God (Because they are Once Saved Always Saved).
You are wrong. I have never known a single person who agrees with the word about ETERNAL SECURITY, what you call OSAS, who belives or practices sin, and I have known, and do know 1000's.
But I have also know many who have given up on trying to live rightious lifes because they were taught just what you teach and when they realized it is imposible to live a sinless life they just gave up.
I have known some who were so depressed that they considered taking their own life.
Jason, your heresy is the one that is of Satan and is dangerous.

The Bible says, have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather, reprove them.
We keep trying, but it does not seem to work with you.

Well, I have nothing to hide.

What do we agree on?

1. The Trinity or the Godhead
(i.e. the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost are separate persons but they are all one God).

2. Jesus Christ is God Almighty in the flesh.

3. The Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God.

What do we disagree on?

1. You believe in "Once Saved Always Saved or a "Sin and still be Saved" doctrine instead of Biblical Conditionalism.
You do not believe a Christian will ever stop sinning and most of those here who believe in some form or another of this teaching have a problem with me preaching out against such a false doctrine.

2. You believe in Eternal Conscious Torment instead of "Dualistic Conditional Immortality" as the Bible teaches.
Granted, I do not believe that to be a salvation issue, but I can see one holding to such a belief as being inconsistent with one saying that God is love and or that His Judgments are good. For I believe God's righteous ways can be explained. They are not a mystery. I believe the story about the Richman and Lazarus is real. But that the Richman was being tormented by the heat of the flame in front of him. I believe the Lake of Fire is a place whereby the wicked will be destroyed both body and soul as Jesus says (Matthew 10:28).

3. Most in your camp believe God commanded Hosea to marry an actual prostitute whereas I do not believe the text says that.

4. You believe Jesus made alcoholic wine at the Wedding of Cana wheras I do not believe that is what the text says.

5. You believe Jesus condones the New Covenant believer to be able to use physical violence against another. I do not believe that is the case. Jesus said for us to turn the other cheek if we are smitten and to pray and do good towards our enemies. Jesus did not say we were to kill our enemies back. Yes, God commanded the entire destruction of certain people groups in the Old Testament, but we are not under the Old Testament anymore.

When a person judges a belief, they are in reality judging them for holding that belief. For example: A person can have a false belief that they commit murder and still be saved. It is not wrong for me to point out such a wrong belief and I would indeed be judging their wrong belief and actions (if they do indeed practice what they preach). It is not wrong to judge. For we are not judging on our own merits or thoughts. We are judging based on what God's Word says. For Jesus said... Judge righteous Judgment. Paul says have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

1. Yes, OSAS, if you need to have a label for it.
I believe we fight off sin until we die, because we are human....and yes, we are still saved.

2. Actually, l have my thoughts on The Lake of Fire. A different time though.

3,4 and 5?????
Never said any of that.
You made that up.
Please don't do that.

how do you know what we believe? You've been busy assuming that you know and judging based on your assumption. You preach turn the other cheek but it's you who is trying to steal everyone else's "tunic". I have yet to hear any edifying or life giving words from you. you're like a black hole sucking the light out of the gospel.

So you believe that it is wrong for a Christian to go to war? You actually believe in Christian pacifism? Do you believe the juice made at the wedding of Cana by Jesus was not alcoholic? If so, then I apologize. It is my experience that most in your camp believe that way. As for number 3, I said.... most in your camp. Meaning most who believe similar as you do believe Hosea was commanded by God to marry a prostitute. Do you believe God told Hosea to marry a prostitute?

As for the OSAS issue: Where is OSAS taught in Matthew 6:15?

Most here disagree with me on the 5 on my list (that you quoted). They also believe in the 7 deadly beliefs that is attached to folks who hold to a "sin and still be saved" doctrine, too.

There you go lying again.
To say MOST IN YOUR CAMP, when you do not know MOST is a lie.
You better repent and get saved again.

I am only telling you the truth based on my experience with talking with people at Theology Online and here at CC. So no. I am not lying.

Matthew 6:15, yes....that is a given. In my experience... It becomes natural and almost automatic with the Holy Spirit.
I'm referring to some of the others things that you have been saying on here.
So OSAS only applies but just not for Matthew 6:15?
What about other verses like 1 John 3:15, 1 John 1:9, and 1 John 1:7?

His posts really are like the maw of some black worm hole, or antimatter, colliding with grace. Like something died in the room.

James 1:25 brotha. Take a break for awhile and go gaze at yourself in the mirror.

No one here has advocated anything but reverence for God and His law perfected in Jesus. We've only called you out on your false notion that you too can be Gods perfected law in your own flesh.

There is no camp of whatever this gospel is of his. I've seen everything from soup to nuts, from cults to Satanists, have yet to hear anybody claim sinlessness, some, what, spit on the sidewalk and lose your salvation gospel? It's mentally deranged.

Well, you do not believe a Christian can be truly perfect even though Jesus says we are to be perfect. You believe you cannot stop sinning. Therein lies the problem, my friend. For James chapter 1 refutes your type of belief. For we are to be doers of God's Word and not hearers only.

LOL! The wretched stench of mans righteousness in comparison to God's perfect Holiness.
