Dr. Jones is good buddies with Carl Baugh. They did a bunch of videos together. Baugh created fake evidence of dinosaurs and humans coexisting. He is a fraud. A credible source of that information is Dr. Gary Hurd, who has posted in these forums.

Sure, we can talk about the people in Jones' book who came up with dates for creation.

First of all, when did those people come up with those dates for creation?

Second, why do the dates vary by more than 1500 years if the "bible" is without error?

Third, does a date of 5.500 BC compared to a date of 4,000 BC matter much to YECs?

Look jack, I am not here to argue with you, I just want to know how you get past the Bible with all this info/chronologies. To me it seems like I would be questioning the knowledge of God. It even appears that Jesus, in the Bible, taught the world was young. I just don't see how someone can say this without rejecting the Bible.
It wouldn't only be a discussion of Jones, did you see the list of people he cited that came up with dates for creation? I just want to know how you can interpret the Bible so differently than the chronologies.

Does it matter whether the date for creation is around 3800 BC or around 5500 BC?

Of course it does not matter to many Christians who do not take the Genesis account literally.

Anybody who does not understand that the world is billions of years old and not 6,000, that dinosaurs did not coexist with humans, and that there was not a global flood around 4,500 BC has no hope of understanding evolution.

The amount of time he's being forced to serve for failing to pay taxes and being disingenuous about it, in the context of building a religious dinosaur park NOT in the context of organized crime and drug smuggling, represents unusual and cruel punishment.
