Are there any NASCAR fans here? Who do you like?

I like NASCAR. I've been a fan for about 10 years. I like Kyle Busch. He's back from some injuries from the Xfinity series race at Daytona. I'm a big fan oh his. He'll be winning races soon.

Carl Edwards. Ironic, after those years of feuding, that he and Kyle are on the same team.

Never got into NASCAR as much as Rally and F1, but I've always been a fan of Jeff Gordon just because he doesn't lose his temper as much as the other big drivers.

I don't watch it much anymore, but when I did, I was also a Gordon fan.

Kasey Kahne, Kyle Larson, Truex Jr. McMurray, Junior, Gordon's ok, Newman's ok, Chase Elliott and a few of the newer kids.

I forgot to say I do like ALL 43 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers, but Rowdy is my main man. And I hope you Gordon fans know it's his last year? And that this coming Sunday he is going to drive the pace car in the Indianapolis 500 race. He said he'll drive to the green flag, then watch a few laps, then get to Charlotte to get ready for the Coca Cola 600 thst night.

I still watch, but it is not as good as used to be. it is much more strategy and fuel management more than gettin up on the wheel!!

I remember going to a Nascar race (Winston Cup) several years ago when the Kansas Speedway first opened up. My friend, who I had not heard from in a while, invited me and had a free ticket for me. He was a big fan of Dale Earnhardt Jr. and wore his T-shirt. I asked him if he had another Dale Earnhardt Jr T shirt for me to wear. He said that he did not but he had a Jeff Gordon T shirt, so I wore it. I didn't know much about Nascar at the time, but heard of Jeff Gordon and heard that he was a good driver. Little did I know that I was being set up! As we entered into the parking lot of the Stadium, I saw bumper sticker after bumper sticker that said, "Gordon sucks", "Death to Gordon" etc.. When we entered the Stadium, I was one of the very few people wearing a Jeff Gordon T shirt and I got a lot of dirty looks. BUT guess who won the race? Jeff Gordon. :D

Next time ... a ticket from a "friend" who you haven't heard from in a while, Beware!

Fans can be ridiculous.

Raider fans up in Oakland have an identity problem. They aren't it. So they become Raider fans.

Remember the beating at Dodger stadium. Poor guy is paralyzed. For what? A Game.

If you want to see that stuff play out again, have someone wearing a Jeff Gordon shirt go to Talladega and stand up in the middle of the crowd and start talking bad about EITHER OF THE EARNDHARTS.........

Medic, MEDIC, CAN WE GET A MEDIC OVER HERE?

Sad, but true.

Guys, everyone who likes any driver will talk smack about your driver you like. Like, with me liking Kyle Busch. People will talk smack about him. Do I like it? No. But that's how it goes.

Sad, indeed. People's priorities! Shallow.

Duh! No one has a problem with smack.

What's being referred to, reread my earlier post, is not just smack. It is at times threatening language. Swearing in anger, with a hate or disdain.

They say they hate driver x when they swear at them. But then they respect them afterward. A lot of people did not like Brad Keselowski at first, but now lots do. So, I don't think it's hate or disdain. I believe it's frustration. Anyone would get frustrated if they got wrecked. So, IMO it's frustration.
