OSAS doctrine denies the faith

"Once Saved Always Saved" (OSAS) is the term that once you accept and believe on Jesus, you can never be unsaved (i.e. Hence the name: "Once Saved Always Saved).

Anyways, the Biblical view on Soteriology (i.e. The Bible Study of Salvation) is called: "Conditionalism."

The real view of conditionalism is salvation by works. Works to keep you saved as if the blood of Christ is somehow dependent upon what man does.

Is God capricious? If your god is someone other than Jehovah God perhaps in fact most likely.

Have you experienced the new creation in Christ? If you are the same as you were before you professed Christ then I can only wonder what it is that you received. That is a great concern in the new evangelical movement. Come to Jesus just as you are and He will accept you....yes come as you are a sinner needing forgiveness but leave forever changed by the power of God. Leave as a new creation in Christ the old nature to sin defeated and the new nature created unto good works in Christ begun.

Here at CC (Christian Chat), it appears most believe in some kind of form of Mid Range OSAS. Again, this is the belief that a believer cannot live in a habitual lifestyle of sin and yet for some reason, a believer can abide in one or two unrepentant sins before they die and it will not separate them from the Lord. At TOL (Theology Online), there were folks there who actually believed in Classic OSAS (Which is the worse version of Once Saved Always Saved). For one guy there told me he actually had a license to sin. This would also be known as Antinomianism. For it is the belief that the moral law does not apply to the believer.

I mean the whole viewpoint starts under the false premise that once Jesus is welcomed honestly into someone's heart that He doesn't have the power or the desire to stay there. That's right scripture does not contradict, but the doctrines of men like OSAS do contradict the words of God, thus the whole point of the thread.

Those who know the truth don't trade it in for lies. Those with eyes to see can see. You've not caused anybody of the truth to submit to lies, and you never will. Those dead and willing to receive lies are dead, anyway.

So, what you fail to see is the point that your thread is entirely pointless, accomplishes nothing, as is every post made by you and your ilk. Only the blind follow the blind into the ditch. If your goal is to try and make somebody more blind, knock your socks off, then. That doesn't make any sense, but neither do you.

You are helpful, I had thought that since you are (for the most part) of those who are some of the worse railers on the forum and then adressing me (directly) this late into it for an elbow back I thought you might be showing partiality towards theirs.

I shouldnt have elbowed back though I should have taken it. I take responsibilty before the Lord and apologize for joining in with that behavior. I did Christ a disserice and He is who I seek to serve.

Let's just put a period on this thread for everyone to see. A person kneels before Jesus and asks Him to be Lord. The Holy Spirit is given and then after a period of time, loses interest or the will to finish the work that it has begun and just leaves because the the person isn't "good enough". If this wasn't such a serious outright flat denial of the Holy Spirit it would be funny.

I have posted to affirm the scriptures as they speak on something. To let the scriptures bring forth the truth to us, and not take up angles.

I wont start my premises on this OSAS catch phrase doctrine of men but examining the denying the faith of Christ (as the scripture speaks of the same).

I try to stay with the scripture and let the scripture prove something out for me.
