Half of what you say would be correct if he was in deed a martyr for truth, There is a difference between standing for truth and being persecuted by lost worldly men as opposed to being a false teacher being hammered by the word and those who teach the truth.....You admitted that he comes off as having an ATTITUDE (its ok to spell the whole word)...I have numerous times engaged him without attitude with scripture over the last few months only to get some mouthy, accusatory comment with a smiley face attached.....I cannot speak for anyone else....if he can dish it out then he should be able to take a little heat back.....I have openly confessed that I occasionally get mouthy and have on a few occasions publically apologized for it and have yet to see one who teaches works for salvation apologize for being mouthy, contentious, accusatory all the while boasting of their sinless walk, self righteous stance and playing a persecuted martyr for the cause of Jesus.....and what is tragic is the fact that people who KNOW they have an attitude, can see they make mouthy comments, can see that they judge motive will jump on the band wagon and defend them like they are some Stephen being stoned to death by the Pharisees or something...............

And I have been on the receiving end when the workers for salvation self righteous ones like sharks have been circling, mouthing, accusing, arguing etc.......so....for the record....I have been there, done that and forgive, forget and keep coming back for what ever may come!

It's more your use of that verse and a few like them, that l disagree with.
This is in response to the OSAS argument too.

Sadly Sis, besides the obvious-we all can agree on-truths of the Bible, the rest sort of fall into interpretations.
If we pushed away everyone who we thought fit those verses.....then technically.....we'd have no need for a forum, or friends.

In the case of believing that we can lose the Holy Spirit, l disagree strongly with those who say we can.
Its contradicts the perfect flow of Christs teachings.

What these guys are doing by calling them out, needs to be done. The way they do it, is just debate style.
I know personal attacks, these guys are "attacking" their message, not them.
This false teaching that one can lose something only the Lord can gives us, is a lie of epic proportions.
Those verses they present to push their point, are twisted out of context...and someone needs to point that out.

They believe the harder they work and the more they 'know', the more they deserve salvation. A lie.
I call them elitist Christians, not elected Christians.
