Dear DC:

I beg you to love. I beg you to be patient. Love like Jesus. Christ would not want you to act the way you are acting, my friend. Also, I might have said this to you before with Scripture, but just to let you know: "Sin is separation from God." This is very important to understand because it was why Adam and Eve needed a Savior. It's why all of mankind needs a Savior. I ask you to re-examine the Scriptures below with an open mind.

Sin
is separation from God:

Isaiah 59:2

But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Micah 3:4

Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves in an evil way in their deeds.

Ezekiel 39:23-24

And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword. According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them

Isaiah 1:15

And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

Deuteronomy 31:17-18

Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us? And I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods.

Proverbs 1:28 CJB and Proverbs 1:29

Then they will call me, but I won’t answer; they will seek me earnestly, but they won’t find me. For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord

Isaiah 57:17 ESV

Because of the iniquity of his unjust gain I was angry, I struck him; I hid my face and was angry, but he went on backsliding in the way of his own heart.

Proverbs 15:29

The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.

Deuteronomy 32:19-20 KJ2

And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters. And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very perverse generation, children in whom is no faith.

John 9:31 ESV

We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him.

Proverbs 28:9

He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

Job 27:8-9 GNV

For what hope hath the hypocrite when he hath heaped up riches, if God take away his soul? Will God hear his cry, when trouble cometh upon him?

Zechariah 7:13 KJ2

Therefore it has come to pass that as He cried and they would not hear, so they cried and I would not hear,” saith the Lord of hosts.

Ezekiel 8:17-18 NLT

Have you seen this, son of man?” he asked. “Is it nothing to the people of Judah that they commit these detestable sins, leading the whole nation into violence, thumbing their noses at me, and provoking my anger? Therefore, I will respond in fury. I will neither pity nor spare them. And though they cry for mercy, I will not listen.

Jeremiah 14:10-12

Thus saith the Lord unto this people, Thus have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet, therefore the Lord doth not accept them; he will now remember their iniquity, and visit their sins. Then said the Lord unto me, Pray not for this people for their good. When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence.

Isaiah 58:9 HCSB

At that time, when you call, the Lord will answer; when you cry out, He will say, ‘Here I am.’ If you get rid of the yoke among you, the finger-pointing and malicious speaking,

Proverbs 21:13

Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.

Psalm 66:18

If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me

Psalm 34:15-16

The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
Jason..thanks I appreciate it, but.....no offence, but my conscience is clear.....so....your approach is noted......and I have a savior His name is Jesus...he paid my sin debt, has sealed me to his kingdom, has justified me in spite of myself, and has sanctified me (positionally) or all eternal ages.......I have a present continuing result from a past completed action such as found in the aorist tense verb of John 3:16.......

i'll send a site in pm that you can enjoy forever (literally), with no ... well >> this is very good >>
(can't share it on open forums... )

you're part right - it is not in man to judge ... but rests with yahweh in yahshua, who reveals the truth to us who know him .... and you have spoken wrongly and harshly against several of those who rest in Christ Jesus and who abide in Him and have spoken HIS WORD to you to no avail.

and still as it is written it is not us nor our words that judge you, nor is it the holy spirit (or you would hopefully repent), but your own words that judge you.... (same with all the rest of us)... we all have to answer for everything we've done and said...
Keep dreaming jeff.....you do daily what you accuse me of...get right yourself and trust Jesus!

The fact that sin is separation from God is sunday school stuff Jason. Thats the whole reason why Jesus came, died and rose again....because there is no other path to God...none, nada, zilch...not you, not me, not anything we have ever done or will do. Jesus...thats it....a growing personal relationship with Jesus.
Read the verses a little more carefully, friend.
Some of those verses I quoted are those who have turned away from the Lord.

It appears to me someone decided to take an opportunity to jump on the DC bandwagon. No one should have to apologize five thousand times,...I'm going to start apolologizing for apologizing around here, if people make me choke on things.

It is not about apologizing 5 thousand times..........
It is about apologizing personally to the person they have wronged as Jesus clearly says we are to do, and then for that apology to be sincere that person can not continue to mistreat that person in the same manner afterwards.
Dconn has not personally apologized to me in a sincere manner as he continues to make the same false baseless allegations and accusations toward me that he always has.
And when I ask for a sincere personal apology all he does is skirt around the issue and continue with his demeaning remarks toward me and I have seen him do it to others as well. All I have ever done is ask for a sincere personal apology which he has failed to do, and then continues to defend his stance when Jesus says to handle this situation personally with the one they have wronged.

If a person tells you you have wronged them, then no matter how you may feel or believe, you have.
Dconn on the other hand defends his own standards instead of listening to the person who said they have been wronged, and then follow Jesus advice on how to make amends.

That is right we are not to judge another, but what some must understand is that there is a difference in judging another and calling a brother or sister out in a sinful way they are engaging in so that they can help them to turn from acting that way.
Instead some take that as judgment even though the bible says we are to do exactly that.

Lord Jesus tells us how to deal with a member of the brethren who is engaged in a sinful way in Matthew 18:15-17, and also says that if you have wronged another to go and make amends with them Matthew 5:23-25.

It is not judging to call them out so that they can correct their ways, but some see it that way because they think they are automatically forgiven for it anyway. In other words can live however they want, false OSAS teaching !!!

While we may disagree very very strongly on this topic of Soteriology, I do appreciate the kind and gentle words back.

May the Lord's love shine upon you.

Yes that is Sunday school stuff, however some people still I guess missed the Sunday when they taught that if you still serve sin/flesh you are still condemned by the law. However if you serve the Spirit and lead by the Holy Spirit to walk in the light then there is no condemnation to those in Christ.
For you can not serve sin/flesh and serve the Lord/His righteousness both, because we can not have two masters.

God says this standard in Joshua 24:15, Jesus says this standard in Matthew 6:24 and Luke 16:13, and Paul says this standard in Romans 6:16.

how come it is so hard for some to repent of their sin ?

that seems to be the main argument here -- no one is saying they don't sin , but that they don't have to sin - according to all of the NT, ekklesia(set apart to yahweh) no longer dwell in a house of sin comfortable with sin and allowing it, but abide in union with yahweh (in union with) (IN UNION WITH) YAHWEH in YAHSHUA by grace and faith....

and no one in union in messiah is able to keep on continually desiring to sin or even "want to sin" because it is so painful and destructive to commit any sin --- so much so that if any sin is committed, it is quickly dealt with ACCORDING TO SCRIPTURE and not allowed to remain (rather, repent quickly)
because if not repented of
THEN IT WOULD SEPARATE FROM GOD.... (in so many ways, and so much.... )

To answer your question of why it is so hard for some to repent of their sin I believe comes from more than one category;

1) They don't believe they have to, as they believe a one time repentance covers all

2) They don't believe they are sinning or doing anything wrong, even if told by another brother/sister in Christ

3) They believe asking forgiveness to God is enough, and don't have to make amends with the one they wronged

4) They believe sin can no longer be imputed on them before confession/repentance is made for it

5) They plainly just don't want to give it up !!!

Lmho Jeff? Are you kidding me right now? No one said once its hard for us to repent! Where do you come from man seriously? Who said we never repent? And who gave you the authority to assume this? This literally makes me lol! And Jesus says its OK for me too. Because you act ludacris with your assumptions about us all at times! You don't even know my personal relationship with God! How dare you?

amen. the answer(s) always in line with all of GOD'S WORD.

they judge themselves unworthy, and they are judged by their own words on judgment day.

even Jesus says He doesn't judge them, but HIS WORD does, because they reject HIS WORD.
