This person said that those of us who agree with the Word that eternal security in Christ is truth are liars and decievers.
Where is you condemnation of him? Where is his love ?
What he teaches is heresy. What he teaches is of Satan. What he teaches leads people to hell. He is no better that those who murder Christians.
I will always pray that God stops those who teach hersey that leads people away from the true salvation.
We are to LOVE ONE ANOTHER despite what they believe is the Truth, Jesus LOVES and died for those who teach heresy, He LOVES and died for those who teach false doctrines. He loves and died for the UNGODLY. We as Christians are to LOVE ONE ANOTHER, even our those who hate us and spitefully use us, or bad mouths us, or belittles us or even kills us, we are commanded to LOVE them, even as Jesus continued to LOVE the very ones who beat Him and spit upon Him, saying to His Father, forgiven them Father for they know not what they do. LOVING them to the very end. So we should do also.

Yes Pray for those who you think are teaching heresy and false doctrines, but do not bash them, belittle them, make fun of them, saying hurtful things towards them, doing those things is not from God but from satan. LOVE them despite what they are teaching. Yes, you can debate with them, in order to try to get them to see the error of their thinking, but do it in LOVE. Do not attack. It is a sinful thing to cause anyone to stumble, but calling them names, will not do anything but cause contention and strife, both of which are not from God. LOVE them, despite what they teach. God will deal with them if they are teaching false doctrines, it is not your place to judge them on such matters, it is our place to merely try try to correct them in a Loving way, and to LOVE THEM.

Heres what I am finding throughout scripture

Christ Jesus (The Vine) and (( ye are )) the branches

John 15:5 (( I am )) the vine,
(( ye are )) the branches:

The true vine even from the beginning

John 15:1 (( I am )) the true vine,
and
(( my Father)) is the husbandman.

There are two kinds of branches that (( bear not)) fruit

John 15:2a (( Every )) branch (( in me ))
that beareth not fruit (( he )) taketh away

And
branches (( that bear )) fruit

And of these he says,

John 15:2b and every (( branch )) that beareth fruit, (( he purgeth ))
it that it may (( bring forth )) more fruit.

The
branches which (( ye are )) in relation to the Vine (( Jesus Christ ))

John 15:5 (( I am )) the vine,
(( ye are )) the branches:
(( He)) that abideth (( in me )) and I (( in )) him
the same (( bringeth forth )) much fruit
for without me (( ye )) can do nothing.

Its speaking of them in terms of dealing with those (branches) in Christ (the Vine) who actually bear the fruit of the Spirit and the purging/pruning of those (branches) who are in him (known by their fruits)

John 15:8 (( Herein )) is my Father glorified,
(( that ye bear )) much fruit;
so shall ye be (( my disciples ))

John 5:4 Abide (( in me)) and I ((in you)).
As (( the branch )) cannot (( bear fruit)) of itself,
(( except it )) abide in (( the vine ))
no more (( can ye )) except ye (( abide in )) me.

John 15:6 If (( a man )) abide not (( in me)) he is cast forth (( as a branch ))
and is (( withered )) and men gather (( them )),
and cast (( them )) into the fire, ((and they)) are burned.
( Same theme as shown in Mat 7:20, Heb 6:8, Mat 13:40-42 )

John 15:7 If ye (( abide in )) me,
and my words (( abide in )) you,
ye shall ask (( what )) ye will,
and it shall be (( done unto )) you.

A man/ branch cannot bear fruit of itself (alone). Abiding in Christ( even in the Vine ) is both abiding in Him and His doctrine ( 2 John 1:9, John 15:5, & 7, 1 John 3:24 )

That which beareth not fruit (which is by Jesus Christ) is rejected

Heb 6:8 But that (( which beareth )) thorns and briers (( is rejected ))
and is nigh unto cursing (( whose end ))
is to be burned.
(Same themes as is shown in Mat 7:20 John 15:6, Mat 13:40-42)

Of false prophets who are not abiding in the Lord Jesus Christ

Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come (( to you )) in sheep's clothing,
but (( inwardly )) they are (( ravening )) wolves.

Mat 7:16 Ye shall know (( them )) by their fruits.

Fruits come by the Father's choice vine, by abiding in Jesus Christ (even in Him and His words)

Then he asks,

Do men gather grapes (( of thorns )),
or figs (( of thistles ))?

Mat 7:17 Even so (( every )) good tree bringeth forth good fruit;
but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Mat 7:18 A good tree (( cannot )) bring forth evil fruit,
neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Mat 7:19 (( Every tree )) that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down,
and cast into the fire.
( Same theme Heb 6:8, & John 15:6, Mat 13:40-42 )

Mat 7:20 Wherefore by (( their fruits )) ye shall (( know them)).

Whereas again he says

Mat 7:16 Ye shall know (( them )) by their fruits.

Do men gather grapes
of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Ofcourse not as in Hebrews it is also written

Heb 6:8 But that ((which beareth ))
thorns and briers(( is rejected ))

Rejected (( is castway )) even (( reprobate ))

Same coomon theme between these.

Whether they be branches which bear not fruit, or trees without the same,
or that which beareth thorns and briers (in contrast) its reprobate

Heb 6:8 the whole verse

Heb 6:8 But that (( which beareth )) thorns and briers (( is rejected ))
and is nigh unto cursing (( whose end ))
is to be burned.
( Same themes as is shown in Mat 7:19, Mat 13:40-42 John 15:6 )

Mat 7:19 (( Every tree )) that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
( Same themes as is shown in Heb 6:8, John 15:6, Mat 13:40-42 )

John 15:6 If (( a man )) abide not (( in me )) he is cast forth (( as a branch )) and is (( withered )) and men gather (( them)) and cast (( them )) into the fire, ((and they)) are burned.
(Same themes as shown in Heb 6:8, and Mat 7:19, Mat 13:40-42 )

In Heb 6:8 That which is bearing thorns and briers which is rejected (whose end is to be burned) and Mat 7:19 Shows that which bears no good fruit hewn down and cast into the fire. And in John 15:6 of the branches not abiding, withered and cast into the fire and they are burned. Lastly, in Mat 13: 40-42 of the tares gathered and burned in the fire in the end of the world

The good seed (the children of God)
and the tares ( the children of the wicked one) which grow together

Mat 13:40 As therefore
(( the tares )) are gathered and burned in the fire;
so shall it be in the end of this world.

Mat 13:41 The Son of man shall send forth (( his angels )),
and they shall (( gather out)) of his kingdom all things that offend,
(( and them ))
which do iniquity;

Mat 13:42 And shall
(( cast them )) into a furnace of fire:
there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth
.

Jesus said,

John 15:8 (( Herein )) is my Father glorified,
(( that ye bear )) much fruit;
so shall ye be (( my disciples ))

These then

Phil 1:11 (( Being filled )) with the fruits (( of righteousness ))
which are by (( Jesus Christ )),
(( unto )) the glory and praise of God.

Ephes 5:9 For the fruit (( of the Spirit )) is
in all goodness and righteousness and truth
(Gal 5:22)

The manifestation of the Sons of God is in doing righteousness (1 John 3:10) verses the other

1 John 2:29 If ye know that he is righteous,
ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

If you know he bears apples then you would know any branch grafted into him would bear like fruits1 John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you:
he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous
.

The fruits of righteousness (which are by Christ) and manifested in the children of God

Whether a a branch of the vine or a tree to its fruit or a son either father, shows the same processes and rejections and cast aways in various pictures. Same with the chastisement of a Father with a son he Has received.

Adoption into the family by one Spirit and becoming more fruitful by the Fathers corrections and the peaceable fruits it works in those who are execised therein

John 15:1 (( I am )) the true vine,
and (( my Father )) is the husbandman.

John 15:2
Every branch (( in me )) that beareth not fruit
(( he taketh away )):

and every
branch (( that )) beareth fruit,

(( he purgeth it )) that it may bring forth (( more )) fruit.

Branches are men (as ye are the branches) is speaking of them in terms of dealing with those in Christ (the Vine) who bear fruit and purging/pruning/chastening of those in him (as by their fruits) ye shall reccognize the same who are encouraged in these things

Heb 12:7 If ye endure (( chastening ))God dealeth with you as (( with sons ))
for what son is he whom the father (( chasteneth not ))?

Through belief in Gods son we are adopted into (even) grafted into the family (tree) or rather into the Vine/Christ. We having been recieved of God in Christ, and we ourselves continuing to abiding in Christ (and even in His words/doctrine) in us we will bear the fruits of the Spirit Christ.

Whether its Pruning what is grafted into the Fathers choice vine or being adopted into the Family of God to be made partakers of Christ (and his divine nature) the Father chasteneth a son received in the household of God. Both pictures show corrections where in a vine or a househouse towards those changes (so as to be made a partaker of the righteousness by faith) and the fruits thereof that come by him (being filled) and thus manifestly declared as the children of God are manifest (so also is the other)

Father and the sons of God and their chastening

Heb 12:11 Now (( no chastening )) for the present seemeth to be joyous, (( but grievous )): nevertheless afterward (( it yieldeth )) the peaceable (( fruit of )) righteousness unto them which (( are exercised )) thereby.

Bastards (which be not sons) would seem to be as the same branches taken away being without chastisement (or any purging/ pruning received by branches which actually do bear fruit receive).

These which abide not cannot of themselves bear fruit and are casts forth as the same as that which beareth thorns (and is rejected

That which is approved wherein the Father is glorified through Christ Jesus (the Vine) are the branches bearing much fruit (and the of the Spirit) and of righteousness being himself so filled.

You can show it according to the doctrine and abiding, because even John said if you dont abide in Christ's doctrine (which was not His own but the Father's) he hath not God. Its by Jesus Christ we come to the Father.

I'll post that briefly up behind, its all about abiding in Jesus Christ as a branch that remains in him or gets cast forth from him, or broken off because of unbelief. Because its by faith in the Son of God we have access into this grace by which we stand. The same grace that teaches us to deny worldly and ungodly lusts and to live righteously in this present world (Titus 2:11-12)

(Gal 5:22, Ephes 5:9)

Then he asks,

Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Heb 6:8
But that which beareth thorns and briers
is rejected

That which beareth the same is castway (even reprobate)

The whole verse

Heb 6:8
But that (( which beareth )) thorns and briers (( is rejected ))
and is nigh unto cursing (( whose end )) is to be burned.

( Same theme is shown in Mat 7:19, Mat 13:40-42 John 15:6 )

It speaks of manifestion the sons of God and the devil (1 John 3:10)

The fruit of (( the Spirit )) is in all righteousness Ephes 5:9
For the fruit (( of the Spirit )) is
in all goodness and righteousness and truth
(Gal 5:22)

Through abiding in Jesus Christ

Phil 1:11
(( Being filled )) with the fruits (( of righteousness ))
which are by (( Jesus Christ )),
(( unto )) the glory and praise of God.

Just so we would not be deceived

1 John 3:7
Little children, let no man deceive you:
he (( that doeth )) righteousness is righteous,
even as he is righteous
.

Same theme through abiding in Him by abiding in the doctrine of Christ

Wow, that was good Sis! You really drove that one home! Well done. :)
You know, I really prefered the shorter and briefer few verses I thought summed it up on the first page, rather then pulling too many things. The word of God repeats the same patterns in various things, whether in a tree or in a branch or in a son, in respects to our abiding

I was looking at the one part where the sower sows the word (and the same being received with joy)

They on the rock are they, which
, when they hear, receive the word with joy
and these have no root
, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

Reflective of receiving the word with joy here also

1Thes 1:6 And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord,
having received the word in much affliction
, with joy of the Holy Ghost:

Receiving of the word with the Joy of the Holy Ghost

As joy is a fruit of the Holy Ghost, the first picture shows receiving the word with this joy who believe for awhile, so its not like continuing to. So in a sense.... if it be the case that even fruit withereth (even as faith is a fruit of the Spirit) not of ourselves, if the fruit withereth then the fruit was first present in order to do so. Which would also account for other things entering in and choking the word (received) and it becoming unfruitful in the sense the work therein is choked out and doesnt come to fruition, or fruit unto any kind of perfection. So believing for awhile is hown

So one can believe for awhile even one can believe unto the saving of the soul as is shown also

Heb 10:30 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition;
but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Same here in respects to what they heard

1John 2:24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.

In contrast to...

2John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God.
He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

Just things I was looking at a couple sort of pushed off to the side. Not all of them were added into the above but there were are other things I was looking at. But the thread took at turn.

I know you weren't speaking to me, but I think longer is better. The problem with that though, is that most don't take the time to read all of it, nor do they consider how it all ties together.
Again ma'am, nicely done.

I appreciate that know1, folks dont read you if you too colorful or if you are too long (I am often both of these) but when attempting brevity it doesnt quite do it either. You certainly cant please everyone.

I think I will keep to my copy pasting our Lords scriptures and move on, (short or long).

I thank God for the scroll button (even the ignore button) I am beginning to believe they are the most blessed features online LOL

What?!
There's an ignore button I don't know about yet?
Actually, I have a hard time getting people to respond to the things I write.
I don't know if I'm colorful or not, I think more on the not side, I just know not too many people like engaging in dialog with me.
Perhaps I'm more alone the line of, weird.
At any rate, I like and agree with your posts, and I hope you continue.

The children who are of that Wicked do not receive the Truth, just as the spirit of a lie does not receive the Spirit of Truth. If they abide not in the Truth, then the Word of God does not abide in them.

John 8:37
I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.

The Prince of this world is the father of lies, and his lies also have no place in Christ.

John 14:30
Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

I've found with me, more people engage me because they disagree. So perhaps by not engaging you, it just means they agree? Just a thought.

My thought is more toward the fact that, they can't refute what I write, than they agree, 'cause if they did agree, they might click the "like" button, and I get neither.

Too true. Jesus cannot receive any lie of the devil because He is of God.
Even as we receive salvation by agreeing with and receive the truth of the gospel, those of the devil cannot receive salvation or the truth of the gospel, because of the spirit of error in them that prevents them from seeing and agreeing with it.

Yes there is an ignore button in your settings to put certain posters on ignore if you would like.

I certainly dont mind being ignored myself, its typically bliss in contrast to all the rest of the options.

Just want to sow the word of God with as little from myself as possible and move on.

That is perfable.

I wish there was a forum where there was no speaking from yourself is allowed

That would be heaven on earth LOL

(and too much to ask Im sure)

Okay, I thought you were just funning with me.
If you don't mind my asking ma'am, how does that work?
Is it the same as just not answering a post?
Or does it prevent you or them from answering?
Either way, it doesn't bother me to be one of a few who believe the way and what I do. I like arguing my point and it gives me incentive to look things up and to seek God concerning the subject in question.
I have always sought the truth from God, and not man, except when I first came to Christ. Not that I haven't learned things from other children of God, but I like actually hearing from God on a subject, and then being shown or told about the scripture and what is means. I get true revelation from God this way and I love it.

Heres one post in technical help showing you how here

http://christianchat.com/user2user-tech-support/91213-ignore-button-forums.html

But just say I added your name to my ignore list, this is how you would appear to me (on the board)

See? I put you on ignore to demonstrate

You always have the option to view the post too. But if someone (not on your ignore) might quote you that wouldnt be blocked. You would not be 100% (in reality) but for the most part.

And they can still spew at you (or at your posts) it just helps in bypassing that person when it comes to responding back to it.

You arent on ignore I took you off, I was just showing you.

Its just an option if you ever feel you need use it, sometimes if someone is just getting on your nerves just toss them on there temptorarily, it doesnt have to be permanent.

I hope that helps.
