So, I was just reading DR. Dino's (Kent Hovind) PhD thesis and in it he said:
"I believe that dinosaurs are not only in the Bible, but the have lived with man all through his six thousand year history."
Now, which one of you YECs can find at least three things wrong with that sentence?
This man has an extremely divisive attitude for a 98 year old. Probably why Paul recommended we don't associate with such people. Stop feeding him.

It's impossible for me to know the earth's exact age, but i believe it is very old, that is very obvious to see.
I can only take it at 'face value' , i came across a paleontoligist group who used the accelerater mass spectrometry (AMS) method and showed a carbon 14 dating value of 22 dinosaurs less than 40 thousand years. This group claimed to have also tested a freshly killed seal that had a C14 dating age of 1300 years, how can that be right?.

There are no absolutes in dating methods apparentley?, assumptions are applied, but they do the best they can with the knowledge they have.

If one was to accept the dating methods arriving at dinosaur fossils 20,000 to 40,000 years old in the two articles you cited, then the YEC 6,000-year-old worldview must be wrong.

I must state that i personally am not an advocate of YEC nor do i necessarily believe in a literal 24 hour day creation period. If the earth is millions of years old and noah's flood did happen then it is possible that millions of years old earth sediment/rock could of been shifted by the flood waters encasing young life forms? and preserved them for long periods of time but not necessarily millions of years. According to the Bible God created land animals and human beings on day six of His creation period, that would of included dinosaurs but back then they would not of been called dinosaurs. According to wikipedia the word dinosauria was first coined by the english biologist/paleontoligist sir Richard owen (20 July 1804 – 18 December 1892). It's also possible that a few young dinosaurs entered noah's ark, the proliferation of kinds would of continued after the flood, so not every species would of been on noah's ark, you only need the parent kind for variation of kinds.

Because based on origins (Genesis) common sense, logic and reason point me in that direction.
There is no real credible scientific evidence that man evolved from an ape-like creature, there is no real credible evidence that one type of creature evolved into a complete different type of creature over millions of years through evolutions random chance natural processes.

People, this is why YECs are often ignored... the movement repeatedly claims evoluiton functions on chance alone - that is NOT what is taught, nor is it taught that lifeforms become "better and better" through it.
I am open to anything I haven't heard from the YEC model, but please, you can't blame people for not listening to those who clearly doesn't understand - or willingly twists - what they are arguing against. Esp when they start with a religious text as the evidence.

(the barriers of the species take the debate (assuming we would be speaking to coherant,reasonable humanoids) into a infinately impossible arena,for now you would need the "evolving" to take place simultaeneously in thousands of "specimens" ,each having it's own set of impossible odds of ever happening.

It is much more difficult for YECs to distort the truth with respect to those issues.
You said this in response to my post questioning your statement that dinosaurs possibly were on Noah's Ark.
If day six is a long period of time as you appear to be saying, dinosaurs could have been created near the beginning of that long period of time and humans near the end of that long period of time. Right? As in millions of years apart?
Did you ever wonder why credible news sources like major TV networks, newspapers, and the like never report that dinosaur fossils that have been discovered could be thousands rather than millions of years old? You only get that from YEC propaganda that has no credible scientific basis.
I find it quite amusing that some of the YECs who have posted in this thread are Fox News fanatics. You can tell that by the posts in the Christian News Forum.

I assume that young male and female species of various kinds entered the ark. I can not prove it though.
I can't be absolutely certain of millions of years but the Bible does mention that a day to God could be a thousand years. Radiometric dating and tree ring dating are two of the most accurate dating methods known to man, according to some scientists radiometric dating has a theoretical range of around one hundred thousand years, millions of years is assumed. Trees should be able to give an accurate date but from my own personal research the oldest trees known are less than ten thousand years old?. It's one thing to date rocks and earth molecules and bones that have turned into quartz/rock/earth materials but dating a well preserved bone can show a different side to things.
