Sunday here too, and church was great!

Did you sing any cool songs?
 
Yes! We sang one that says

'Give me oil in my lamp keep it burning
Give me oil in my lamp I pray
Give me oil in my lamp keep it burning burning burning
Kwwp it burning till the break of day.'

It was hard, cus I learned it a different way. I don't know if this is real, or if my uncles were making things up. Here's the version I learned as a child:

'Give me oil for my Ford keep me truckin'.
Give me oil for my ford, I pray.
Give me oil in my Ford, keep me trickin' for the Lord
Keep me truckin' till the break of day.'

I almost busted out laughing in practice.
 
Hahahaha that's funny cuz we used to sing that song that song in like 3rd grade! We did like those two verses and some more silly ones! Like one was
give me wax for my my board keep me surfing for the Lord
and another was like
give me sauce for my taco keep me rockin to moroco :P hehe.
Anyways we made those verses up to be silly heehe :) :)

That's so cute!!! I'd never heard of those.
 
it's hard to explain

it is a school, but not part of the standard education. it is somewhat expensive and is taken more or less as a uear off from ordinary school

you cna study stuff like martial arts, theater, sports, language ++
(I'm guessing it much like the elective subjects you have at ordinary schools that our stupid schools don't have)
