Yeah, and learning Norwegian is not easy. The "U" is sometimes U and sometimes O, and the "O" is both O, U and Å...and surely some other letters too...lol...and that horrible silent "H"...and its evil side kick, the silent "G"...sigh...then it is of course the curse of the "KJ" sound...not to forget the evil syllables...well...

*Cringes* That sounds complicated. Is Norwegian anything like the Hungarian or Dutch language, where you use a lot of throaty gurgling sounds and the rolling of the tongue?

My grandma is Dutch and my grandpa is Hungarian (from my dad's side). My mum is also Filipino. Myself, my brother and my cousins would often get together as children, and would impersonate such family members and their thick accents.

And when we get together as adults, some now with children of their own, we still impersonate our beloved family members and relive many fond childhood memories.

I realize the sounding and spelling are completely different, but when I see ' egeiro' I think 'ergo' (Latin ; 'air-go') as in, 'therefore'.

The first time she posted, I read it as "egret". Beat that.

Hahahaha, yeah, our brains do funny things when we come across words that are new. But I totally blame the English language for this, because the pronunciation and spelling rules for the English language have no consistency at all (e.g. 'i after e except after c' rule that applies to probably 30 words in the English language)

But incase anyone is struggling, its pronounced 'egg-gear-row'. And as my signature states, it is Greek.


... Or you can just call me 'Egg'.

well... i won't feel so silly anymore.

when i first saw it the first handful of times, i was overwhelmed with the desire to sing (to the chorus of the song, "old macdonald") and substituted the spelling of the name egeiro with the actual chorus.

like:

"E-G-E-I-R-O" instead of "E-I-E-I-O"

it was such a "non-thought" thought that i didn't even recall singing it until i started reading what you guys were saying how you read (perceived) that name.

what's really funny is that i insert way too many names, words, and thoughts to music as spontaneous lyric. but most of them aren't really explainable. or even worth repeating. : ) but set to the jumble of music in my head from the last couple days.

I want scrambled eggs, but I don't want to fix them. Nor do I want to GO somewhere for some one else to fix them for me. THIS is why I need a man... for occasional scrambled eggs. I suppose he'd be well to know how to fix said eggs.

And heck, as I'm placing an order, any of the following sides are acceptable, but my change my egg order: grits w/ cheese, home fries, spinach and hollandaise, asparagus and hollandaise, goat cheese and spinach, hot peppers and jack cheese, green olives, salsa and beans - huevos rancheros style

I am going to sound a little 4th grade here

Yeah left work early today too because my coworkers were making fun of me
so I guess I started crying in front of them a little bit
And I told my boss I was leaving because I couldn't 'handle it today'
And she told me that I needed a doctor's note because there is no excuse that I should be taking off two days straight and not have a doctors note. And she also told me that the only reason why someone shouldn't be coming in to work is because they are sick to their stomach. And then I said 'Just because someone isn't sick to their stomach doesn't mean that they are not sick." and then I kind of laughed a little bit and said "I'll try to get a doctor's note." and I walked out the door.

I really just can't decide if I need a new job, or just to stay there for a couple more months.
I guess God is testing me in some ways.
And I really wish that I had my cellphone so I can get a doctor's note..

I guess it's a crime to not want to deal with critical people who are just plain bullies..
People are way too concerned with my life and are too overly critical in nature.
That makes me not feel so bad if I did inconvenience them.

There is no hope for humanity. That's why Jesus showed up. Humanity cannot be fixed, redeemed, changed, bargained with, helped, or anything along those lines until Jesus returns. Because the human soul is the ONLY THING in all of creation that cannot evolve. The human soul does not change without Christ. EVER. And even when people are saved, they still mess up because we're sinners.




People will not get better until Jesus comes back, kid. It's just the way it is.

Wow, you're not picky or anything...

Reminds me of a friend's signature on a different forum. "Instant human, just add coffee. I'm not picky, italian roast brewed in a french press will do just fine."

Eggs are pretty good though. I have five boiling now for supper. And some time around Thursday I plan to boil 8 dozen and pickle them. 4 dozen for me, 4 dozen for my uncle Fred. He eats almost as many eggs as I eat.
