Depends on what kind of honey and cinnamon you use, since raw honey has surprising healing properties. And most cinnamon you get on the market is cassia, not ceylon cinnamon, which ceylon cinnamon is better for you. I have a big bag of it in my kitchen, and I really like it! Which cinnamon is anti-bacterial. When you take the cinnamon and honey mixture, you aren't supposed to drink anything for the next 5 minutes.
I'm a honey-cinnamon taker pro since this is something my mom taught me when I was younger, and it did help. And it doesn't hurt that it tastes better than cough syrup.
