Are you actively fulfilling your purpose in God's kingdom?? If not, why??
 
I haven't yet, because I don't know what it is.

I'm asking God to reveal it to me and send me to wherever I should be, and I'm trying to increase my knowledge and faith.

I have had a roving commission up tillnow
 
I have no idea what it is, and I think I need to spend more time with God if I am ever to be able to find it...

I've asked this question for a reason. I sincerely believe that 'many' are not currently fulfilling anything which they would admit actually represents an actual purpose. I believe there is a good reason for this. We must be actively involved in fulfilling our purpose. God has given us abilities, talents and gifts, as tools, but tools without a purpose are limited in their ability to edify the body of Christ (the Church), without mentors and a place to exercise those gifts.

We as Christians, after recognizing that we have a calling, a gifting or ability of some type, must connect with a group or Church where we will be given opportunities to use these gifts. God does the equipping, but we must express our willingness to commit to a ministry which will allow God to touch others through us. This is how purpose is developed.

Few Preachers awoke one day, and immediately began preaching to hundreds or thousands. The same is true of teachers, Pastors or Healing ministries. We are to recognize how we have been equipped, and with God's guidance, begin to use those talents in association with a commitment to a ministry.

If those talents are buried, as we wait for some vision, dream, angelic visitation, or a clearer perception of God's voice, we may find ourselves without purpose for a very long time.

I believe that my talent or gift is teaching. This is not a gift of 'preloaded' knowledge, but simply an ability to convey information, which is enhanced by the Holy Spirit, but does require study and research. I have taught in a few churches, but at present I am working with a gentleman at the Church I regularly attend, to begin a 'Men's purity' group for guys of all ages, single and married.

I simply want to encourage those who may be waiting for 'The Purpose', to connect with 'A Purpose'.
