It was a happy coincidence, dear sister.
It too am rather tall, and before I learned to drive, I was almost always in the middle car seat. I'm tall too, so that was fun. Not. I used to get really bad motion-sickness on journeys too - lots of windy roads - that sort of thing. Now, because I drive most of the time, it's not really an issue. But when I'm not driving, I would have the window down or the car fan/air-conditioner blowing in my face, watch the road in front of me, drink water, have some ginger or dry biscuits. In rare cases, salt and vinegar chips would help. It was a royal pain in the butt and I learned to hate travelling (it takes ages to get anywhere in Australia). I love to read and that would've whiled away the many hours, but nooooo, I had to be the person who got motion-sickness! Oh, well.
