What's the proper Jesus image for my abvatar, guys? I've had multiple people say I should take my other one down, and I did. Hope it's the right one.

No one knows for sure what Jesus looked like. I think this one AND your other one was fine. Another user here has this pic as her avatar, and your other pic is the same one I have on my wall here at home.
Don't let anyone tell you what to do regarding your own avatar(s).

Just my personal feelings - I like this one better. I've always thought of Jesus as peaceful and with a loving look. This one comforts me.

I actually like both, however this one makes you seem to be softer and loving which are qualities of Jesus Christ. I actually love pictures of Jesus holding a baby lamb myself

Good question. I'm not sure if there is an end to the possibilities; examples like, the dawn of a new day, the lion of Judah, the Lamb of God, Sent, the Sword of God, the tree of life, healer. In prayer I asked which is the greatest of the gifts. I didn't have to wait long. 'Love' empowers all gifts. The avatar you chose is at the top of the list of gifts. So, not only a good question, but also a good choice.

You are very welcome and I do mean it. I have no doubt that you are loving as many here are. My recommendation to you is let your guard down and allow that part of yourself show because it makes you much more relateable. I know I am really scared to let my guard down because I have been hurt and betrayed. However, it seems as though here I don't feel that way at all because for the most part we stick up for one another. Now, I realize the BDF is a little different, but most of them are loving and caring. I have actually PM'd a couple of the regulars for prayer and Godly wisdom and they were so loving and understanding.
I want to thank you all for saying I made a good choice on my avatar. It really makes me feel good deep inside to know I've made a good choice. You guys are what true friends are about. God bless you all.

Doesn't really matter what others say. Long as the avatar is a true representation of his nature and character. Christ has multiple sides of his nature. Righteous anger is one of them, as well as loving. People usually want to think of Jesus more like a peace loving hippy hugging children and carrying lambs and not acknowledge other parts of his character. These are are true sides of him, but not the only ones. So feel free to pick one that is accurate of him. It's not for others approval.
