Each time you pray the Rosary to Mary mwc68 proves you do believe Mary is greater than God. Every time you claim Mary was without sin proves you are saying Mary is greater than God.

When will you follow Jesus Christ only mwc68? When will you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior mwc68?

Every person who has received Salvation also has received the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit mwc68. Since you teach that Mary was without sin proves you do not have the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit which means you never have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior mwc68.

Since you are not a True Christian is why you teach heresies from the Roman Catholic Church as truths from God.

How can you ever understand Spiritual Truths from the Holy Spirit if you are walking in darkness mwc68?

Repen mwc68 before its too late. Accept the Salvation Jesus has for you mwc68 and receive the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit before its too late and you die in your sins mwc68.

The Rosary is all about Christ. Most non Catholic get this wrong then say we put Mary above God. One again, we DO NOT put Mary above God!!!!

It is not a set up to search out from a person just what it is he or she believes about salvation. It can only be a good thing to discover you have it right. It is equally good to discover that there is a dissonance in one's understanding of salvation and the Lord is pleased to bring correction to an open heart!

I've known Jesus as my Lord and Saviour my whole life. I was raised in the church and have known and accepted this my whole life. I come from a big Italian family and Jesus and the church have always been important

I've read through about 16 pages of this thread... Just one question, if Catholics are such an abomination then why has it not faded as so many other religions? Around 900 other Christian religions ( last count, and not including those going extinct today!)have faded away since the 1600's why? Do you also think the Jewish religion is an abomination, after all they have mysticism and numerology and they defiantly do not believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior ( to clarify; there is a current movement in the Jewish community for those who believe in Jesus, this only within the last 10 or so years) only a man who was a great teacher and turned his back on his kind...

All religions are flawed, they all are contaminated by the egos of man... we just choose for our self's the less of these evils we can live with or ignore. There is great beauty in the Catholic religion, that has inspired men for centuries, just as there is profound teachings in many religions that are popular today... if you can not see the hand of God in each of them as we are shaped and molded you have lost the true heart of Christ himself! He taught tolerance, he taught unconditional love and forgiveness...


If I did not know better, and as a newbie to this site, I would run like hell after reading some of these threads... I fully understand this is a forum, but the intolerance, lack of respect for others opinions who are trying so hard to find their way home just amazes me...

Beauty in the Catholic religion? It is not beautiful to God. Be careful that your sense of what looks pleasant on the outside doesn't come up and bite you.

Why hasn't the Catholic Church just faded away since it is supposedly such an abomination? Very good question! I would say its because right after Jesus made Peter the first pope and established the church he said the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it. I know this is why the Church is still here no matter how much stuff is brought against the church. The sex abuse scandal was major, yet it seemed satan concentrated on the Catholic. Church. The church has still prevailed. The people here who distort the church's teachings , the church continues to prevail. Jesus started the church and will not let satan tear it down. to some how make it satanic

The RCC has deep roots that the devil has used to make itself palatable to the ignorant, who are hungry for religion but not hungry enough for the truth about Jesus Christ. It is still around because the devil is still around. Anything that mimics the true Church. It's just a religion, nothing more.

I am very much aware of Christ words and whole heartily believe... but you are missing the point I was trying to make... or maybe you just emphases my point... I was arguing religion not biblical principals... there is a big difference in the two... religion is mans version and interpretation of what the bible says. Not once did you ask me as an individual about my personal believes, you just pounced! How would you expect to correct or lead me to your understanding when I am being attacked and running for cover... that was my whole point!... by the way, Baptist, but with enough understanding and tolerance and patience for others, this I learned through Christ... throwing your weight around with quotes is bulling and no one wants to be bullied... it took me a long time to get where I am ( plus several degrees ) I searched and searched for truth and something to believe in, that filled the void and all I ran into where bullies... YOU MUST, NOW!... that never cut it with me... the truth was told to me in a whisper, a stirring that echoed louder than a clap of thunder...

Well, for the record also, I have had a friend who knew Jesus Christ as her Saviour and Lord, but rremained in the RCC becasue she was ignorant of the truth, not knowing how to extricate herself from it. By the time I got to her, she was dying. I believe that when she died, she went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ, but went with a load of error on her.

So, there are some saved in the RCC, but those who live lives of seeking after the truth and getting into the word of God independently will eventually hear the Lord tell them to move out of there.

Oh yah... about love and forgiveness... does not Christ forgive us over and over again even after we are saved? Does he not love us unconditionally? that love allows us to be forgiven and saved? That unconditional love allows us to approach him... it does not repeal... do we not learn by example? does not Christ's grace sustains you? filling you with his light til it overflows?
There is a lot more to all this then hell fire and damnation... not saying that is not important to understand... I came to Christ through an old time Baptist Church that was in African American neighborhood... I was so moved by the spirit in that church, it was palatable, it exuded and moved and I wanted that, I needed that! it did not judge me as unworthy, or lacking as I was.. just that there was more I could be...
