so, ive placed a new challenge for myself.

i've always had a problem making eye contact with people, and i want to get over it. so i'm going to make myself make eye contact. some may see this as silly, but i know others know the struggle lol

it really is a struggle. idk if it's because i'm an introvert or because for a long time, i had low self esteem (which sometimes still happens). but i want to see people because they matter, ya know?

Melita: I've had the same problem myself, I started off by forcing myself to look people in the eyes when saying thank you for i.e. change in the grocery store etc. It takes time, but you can do it :)

If you are an introvert, ill apologize ahead if time if Im overwhelming. Im an extrovert and am trying to be better at being SO out there. My oldest daughter is an introvert and tells me there are time limits for them. Either way, I think social anixety is common. Plus, we all have our 'thing'.
BTDubs your profile pic makes me smile.

i'm making baby steps/baby progress lol. i'm trying by looking at patients in the eye. some make it easier than others. i found that it's waaaaay easier with elderly folks. perhaps because they always make conversations.

i've actually done well with extroverts. i'm thinking it's because they do most of the talking, so i get to do most of the listening :p

My kind of computer joke...... 'cause, with me, it usually isn't a joke.

Heavy time in our church..... paradox-wise.

Yesterday, Chris preached one of the best messages in years..... Great!

But, our worship leader is leaving after next week... and his parents (two fantastic people) will likely soon follow him and his wife and kids out to California.
