Yes you are saved if you have done what Romans 10:9 says mwc68.

Now the question is are you doing what the Holy Spirit teaches in Galatians 5:16-25?

Galatians 5:16-25
[SUP]16 [/SUP] I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
[SUP]17 [/SUP] For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.
[SUP]18 [/SUP] But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
[SUP]19 [/SUP] Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
[SUP]20 [/SUP] idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
[SUP]21 [/SUP] envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
[SUP]22 [/SUP] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
[SUP]23 [/SUP] gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
[SUP]24 [/SUP] And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
[SUP]25 [/SUP] If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

You are doing Idolatry mwc68 when you pray the Rosary. You are doing Idolatry mwc68 when you pray "Hail Mary". You are doing Idolatry mwc68 if you have a statue or picture or medal of Mary. You are doing Idolatry mwc68 if you ask anything of Mary because you are not asking God for it.

You are doing heresies when you claim Mary was without sin mwc68. You are doing heresies when you claim Mary was assumed into Heaven mwc68.

These things listed above which you have done and are still doing mwc68 will keep you out of Heaven. You are almost there mwc68. Stop the Idolatry and heresies, do not practice them ever again and then you will be allowed to enter into Heaven mwc68.

examine yourself whether you are truly in the faith. is Jesus Christ living within you? Have you come to Him alone for salvation? are you trusting in Him only and in His blood shed for you? Have you received Him into your life. Many baptists will hear His words in the last day saying, 'depart from me for I never knew you'.
whats my devotion have to do with our discussion on catholics? i will say that i am not perfect, very far from it but i serve the best of my ability, and so do many catholics, i have seen it with my own eyes, its not something i saw on tv.

God saves by His grace because none are good enough. The best of our ability is never good enough. Gods standard is perfection absolutely no sin. Only Jesus attained this level of perfection and that is what enabled Him to become the sacrifice for our sins.

Devotion is not the measure. Grace is the measure God uses.

I read the same Catholic book , the bible, as you! Don't know this ummmn demon Mary you speak of. Since you knoe her, you might want to re think what you are doing
The bible is not a catholic book, and yours is adulterated with several uninspired books. The RCC has mischaracterized Mary and deified her. She is a fantasy character, more like a cartoon---a fable.

You need to rethink the forced feeding you've had at the hands of your religious leaders. They are blind leading the blind.

i never said the best of my ability was plenty good enough, it just means i am not perfect.
are you saying only those that are perfect can receive our Lords grace?
i think you are misunderstanding devotion or maybe i am. i was simply referring to the way i serve, my relation with the Lord, the way i live my life for His glory. hope that makes sense

According to you " once saved always saved". This is what you told me.
I whole heartedly did Romans 10:9 and you agreed I am saved because of this verse. Now you are saying if i do this idolatry, i will lose my salvation. So, what happened to "once saved, always saved"?

So, the Angel Gabriel and Elizabeth were idolaters?
They were just greeting Mary, and it is recorded in an old English dialect, but the use of the word, "hail", today and especially in prayer to someone other than God is misappropriated and abominable.

Why does everyone on this website use KJV? It is the old english dialect translation of a translation (the volgate). There are more accurate translations out there, for example the NASB, ESV, HCSB

Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city in Galilee called Nazareth, 27 to a virgin [a]engaged to a man whose name was Joseph, of the [b]descendants of David; and the virgin’s name was [c]Mary. 28 And coming in, he said to her, “Greetings, [d]favored one! The Lord [e]is with you.” 29 But she was very perplexed at this statement, and kept pondering what kind of salutation this was. 30 The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God.31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; 33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.” 34 Mary said to the angel, “How [f]can this be, since I [g]am a virgin?” 35 The angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the [h]holy Child shall be called the Son of God. 36 And behold, even your relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son in her old age; and [i]she who was called barren is now in her sixth month.37 For [j]nothing will be impossible with God.” 38 And Mary said, “Behold, the [k]bondslave of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.

It is all about my Lord and Savior. I even have the awesome honor of playing music for Him on Sunday! I am not a false convert. I have been doing this my whole life. So, my queztion is, and I'm not trying to be funny i am being serious , If I am saved, then how could idolatry(which i don't practice) cause me to lose my salvation?

Who is your lord and savior?
how has he saved you?
what qualifies you as saved?

That doesnt answer any of the three questions.
So, apparently you have another take on Salvation. I was told by Kenallen that's all i needed to do and I am saved. Romans 10:9

I don't have a picture of idol worship and neither do you
Heres a few for you

Blessing idols and censing idols

Kissing idols and Quran

Taking idols into the sick

Kneeling/ bowing before idols

2 Kings 18:4 He removed the high places, and brake the images,
and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made:
for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it:
and he called it Nehushtan. (thing of brass)

Burning incense to idols as shown here

He that
burneth incense,as if he blessed an idol. (Isaiah 66:3)

Isaiah 42:8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

Psalm 141:2 Let my prayer be set forth before (( thee )) as incense;
and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice
.

Hosea 13:2 And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver,
and idols according to their own understanding,
all of it the work of the craftsmen:
they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.

And Paul warns us using this instance

1 Cr 10:7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. Exodus 32:6

Where is says,

Exodus 32:8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them:they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto
and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

Duet 4:16 Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image,
the similitude of
any figure, the likeness of male or female,

Two footed beasts or four footed I would think

Not a golden woman either

A golden shrine set up for a headless Mary Magdalene paraded around town now

Thats just weird

Heres a picture of this giant golden idol/shrine with her skull in it

How is that normal to do that?

A dead persons skull in a golden shrine, that just screams pagan

Why would I care to see this? There has got to be more then a few screws loosed in more then a few men at the vatican.

Sometimes you wish you took the blue pill

Then this...What is this?

You have sme sort of magic t8 ball of saints blood or something

Theres a little collection of pics for those who dont want to do the time and search for them, the bone chuches arent in here, but mostly idols.

We have blessing idols, kissing idols, censing idols, bowing before idols, praying before idols, parading idols around town, priests kissing another gospel's book (like the Koran). What is missing?

Its not worship but veneration right?

In Romans Paul points the following outRomans 11:3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars;
and I am left alone, and they seek my life.

Romans 11:4 But what saith the answer of God unto him?

I have reserved to myself seven thousand men,
who have not bowed [SUP]G2578 [/SUP]the knee to the image of Baal.

which is the Greek bowed [SUP]G2578 [/SUP]kamptō

1) to bend, bow, the knee (the knees) a) to one 1) in honour of one
2) in religious veneration b) used of worshippers 2) to bow one's self

That includes veneration in there

And Paul was quoting that from1Kings 19:18

Which word in Hebrew is "bowed" kara`

1) to bend, kneel, bow, bow down, sink down to one's knees,
kneel down to rest (of animals), kneel in reverence a) (Qal) 1) to bow 2) to bow down, crouch
3) to bow down over 4) to tilt, lean b) (Hiphil) to cause to bow

In such a way they were the worshippers of Baal as spoken of here

2Kings 10:23 And Jehu went, and Jehonadab the son of Rechab, into the house of Baal,
and said unto the worshippers of Baal,
Search, and look that there be here with you none of the servants of the LORD,
but
the worshippers of Baal only.

And again here of all knees and mouths (because they bow knees and kiss stuff)

1Kings 19:18 Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel,
all the knees
which have not bowed unto Baal,
and every mouth
which hath not kissed him.

So all the knees which have not bowed before the image of Baal or mouth that has kissed his image

At least we can see here that
bowed kamptō means in its biblical definition
religious veneration

Whereas Hezekiah in 2 Kings 18:4 is an example of non compliance in doing any such thing regardless of whether God commanded Moses to make the image (which was a figure of the true) in respects to the brasen serpent. Hezekiah does not do as the children of Israel but to the contrary. Making an image of the Godhead or likening the same unto the things above was not encouraged (to the contrary) Acts 17:29. In Christ dwelled the fulness of the godhead bodily, and Jesus Christ is the image of the "invisible" (not visible) God (he is the brightness of "his person") and "the invisible things" of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse Romans 1:20 And so we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device Acts 17:29 which is all that stuuf (above) one says they can venerate but that word falls under the defintion of what they were doing when bowing the knee unto Baal. If Ball had a book they would have probably be smaking lips with it just as the popes are smacking lips with the Koran (their lips and knees) not much changes
