Is a life without sinning possible?

I believe that we can live without sinning as there are plenty of scriptures that teach us how as believer we shoudl live. I have heard many scriptures quoted about how God can do things in our lives, even the ones who say you cannot walk away from salvation because you are sealed. Yet that same God cannot give you the power to stop sinning, that does not make sense to me. As for scripture saying we cannot stop sinning saying if we have no sin we deceive ourselves. Thoes are about our need for a savior not that we cannot or should not put away sin. Some say to say you can stop means you have pride which is foolish talk to me because I view it as a praise to the power of my God.
The bible declares that we were born in sin and shaped in iniquity but through Jesus we are born again and are a new creation, old things are passed away and all things are become new. If the old man could not stop sinning and we had to be born again is now the new man have to sin also? Isn't there a difference in the old and new? From what I know about the Holy Spirit He will lead you into all truth, He will guide you and bring the things Jesus tautht to rememberance. The bible days consider God ineverything and He will direct your path (can He direct you into sin). The Bible also says that when tempted comes that God will make a way of escape for us if it becomes to strong?
There are no scriptures that I have read that teaches we will continue to sin after salvation but there are many that tells us not to sin after salvation.

Jesus NEVER said that His followers would be known by their perfection nor did He say His followers would be known by their doctrine

oh, no worries. it is Jesus Who offers you forgiveness of your sin, not me.
it is your own words that convict you, not me.

if you do repent and are forgiven, you will not be equal with God, so don't set your hopes that high --- you've been lied to and deceived all of your life,
and
as long as you want to be, you will be.

We believers in Christ hold fast to the ONLY One who has never sinned so that we may approach the throne of God's grace

God has made the way through His Son

There is no boasting in this, there is no condemnation of others because we think we are better then them

There is nothing apart from our Savior

It is a gross distortion of the truth to tell someone they will never sin again or can now live sinless. Every single time one of these false teachers comes here and tells everyone how superior they are, they sin. They mock (some more than others) They deceive. They love a snappy answer.

Jesus said I am The Way, the Truth and the Life...no one comes to the Father but by me

We can only approach God, who is Holy, ONE WAY!!! not through our own efforts or else Jesus would never have had to die

We can continue to approach the throne of God, as Hebrews tells us, through the blood of our High Priest, the Lord Jesus Christ

I bend my knees before Him...but you sinless perfection crowd are an unholy lot who profess BEYOND what scripture teaches and you will answer for that.. you constantly try to tell everyone here that we must answer because we don't cowtow to YOU...but you do not represent our Savior...your represent the serpent because you make yourself equal to God

People who claim they can sin and still be saved are ignoring the words of Jesus Christ in regards to repentance. For Jesus defined repentance for us. For Jesus said the Ninevites will rise up in Judgment against this generation because they repented at the preaching of Jonah. If you were to turn to Jonah chapter 3, we learn that the Ninevites turn from their wicked and evil ways as a part of their repentance. John the Baptist told people to repent and then they were confessing their sins. Jesus told the woman caught in the act of adultery to ... sin no more. It's insanity to claim that you can be evil and yet be one of God's good people. Jesus said you cannot serve two masters. Choose this day in whom ye will serve.

I cannot imagine being certain people here and actually taking delight in telling people they are not saved and then mocking them and telling them they can repent

it must be like having that little cartoon devil on your shoulder and listening to it telling you what to do

how can a supposed believer be filled with glee at the thought of someone going to hell?

Yes, you can live without sinning, but how? Walking in communion with Jesus.

Paul put it that he did not judge himself, because in judging we fail to walk in the Spirit.
In my understanding it is through communion with the Lord and letting the Spirit guide and inspire us this is possible.
But like a tight rope walker we can slip off, but until we do we are walking correctly.

I wonder why people are interested in suggesting, hey the walk you do is impossible to slip off because you are completely held up by the Lord or those who say, slip off,you loose salvation until you climb back on.

The point is staying on and carrying on walking. The point is while you walk in the spirit you can choose not to fall, but walking in the flesh you are a slave to it. Paul suggested though you walk in the flesh you are saved but will loose everything but your soul, no treasure in heaven.
