Salvation must come first, the Holy Spirit the cure for many these diseases, but this not what is burning in my loins at the moment, 'o great Effendi Sirk: thou mayest be on to something, thy homospirituals.

This could be a real boon to the legal industry. Think about it. Homospiritual Rights. A baker could be sued and put out of business, for refusing to bake a perfect cake, frosting of which must hold up to scrutiny with a micrometer. Or a wedding photographer taken to court, who refused an order guaranteeing all shots would be good. Malpractice, of doctors who didn't deliver a perfect baby. Shoot, sue any lawyer, who loses a Homospiritual Rights case! Sue popcorn suppliers, over old maid kernels. Now that we nearly have a homo in every pot, time to take up the plight of the homospirituals! If not for them, then at least to try and save some trial lawyers.
Seriously man....we need to start a reality show....we could call it "Illustrating Absurdity"...lol

PS....I guess I always assume that the Salvation part is included in my thought without saying it...lol. I need to stop doing that!

Not sure a new title would be required. Just bring back "The Twilight Zone."

This is so true. There is nothing new under the sun, nothing going on in these regards that is not the self righteousness Scribes and Pharisees suffered from, just a label swap out, Christian for Jew. But the same characters.

Do you think they got it from their church or their ancestors? Or is this a demonic tare sown amongst the wheat?
The independent spirit is demonic. Most of these types WERE in churches, but leave when good churches send them out according to God's word, and many leave on their own accord to follow after a following that will feed their flesh. Often, that following is on the internet!

Without genuine repentance, these types end up walking the streets talking to themselves.

You know I have often pondered that Jesus was the first counselor. I mean when you think about how He related to people... because He knew everything about them and was able to feel their pain and then draw it out of them. He could completely empathize with a broken hearted person and He could just as easily see right thru the black hearts of the "religious leadership".

Jesus knew who wanted help and who didn't...He knew the tiniest bit of faith as well as the smallest amount phoniness.

There is a phenomenon of having no congregation, that attracts crackpot religion to the web. A very hard question to get an answer to is what their congregation is, how about a link to the website of a congregation and doctrinal charter they agree with? The cults generally hide this, though some will finally confess who they are, but some people don't have a congregation of their beliefs, because their beliefs are false, private interpretations nobody else represents, or beliefs some pitiful handful represent. It's in the nature of blindness and narcissitic delusion they believe they have some special spirit, that God only talks to them and through them, appalling to deny the rest of Christendom has a false charter, that they alone have truth. It really is mentally ill, if you put aside the false doctrine and lack of understanding of the faith, it's textbook pathological narcissism. As to the doctrines, they are lies, doctrines of demons.

For a person to be healthy they MUST be in fellowship with healthy Christian people and be teachable and responsible. We are designed for relationship...with God and with each other. No one who lives on an island by themselves will be sane if they stay there.

Paul was killed by Rome, after surviving a serious shipwreck, another trip to prison, and an illness few thought he'd survive. Peter was hung on a cross. Only one apostle survived to old age. The rest were killed for their beliefs. (Even old-age guy spent quite some time on an island in exile.)

Just sayin', trouble in our lives isn't always a sign that God is punishing us. It usually isn't. It's that stupid weak moment in life when I asked God to give me patience. He doesn't take back his promises. lol
Nevertheless, many of these people are impervious to biblical, church correction, but we can offer to bring them to correction when we see they are weakened by the trouble they will indubitably find themselves in. God doesn't punish, but Satan loves to stick his oar in---even among those who are doing his will.

It's so essential to listen to those who teach by the Spirit, to grow. But there are those here who don't listen to anybody else, who dismiss even the true teachings of many, many giants of the faith, generations of Spirit-filled theologians, learned theologians who agree on all the basics they refute. There's no helping somebody who won't listen, who won't receive truth. It's talking to a brick wall. You see it here. They're like Chatty Cathy dolls somebody keeps pulling the string on, just repeating themselves, nobody in there, nobody home.

Where I grew up...if you showed any kind of weakness you would get torn to shreds. Everything you said had the possibility of somebody making a mockery of it, that would have bystanders laughing at you. So...when the righteous folks get all hoity toity up here with their holy than thou rhetoric, I tend to sense their insecurity and pounce...lol.

Perverting truth and trying to teach those perversions to others is very serious business, very serious. It's better to not have even heard the gospel, than to pervert it. I'd shudder to walk in some shoes around here, very scary stuff I fear they're destined to learn the hard way. It's one thing to have common sin, another theological sin, a reason the Lord Jesus spoke venomously to the Scribes and Pharisees, who rejected His righteousness. If one deigns to teach, it had better not be lies.

Luke 12:46-48
The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

2 Peter 2:1 But there arose false prophets also among the people, as among you also there shall be false teachers, who shall privily bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master that bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

The etiology of these illnesses is a deep sense of fear, most of all, an inability to confront their own smallness and helplessness, but something required of repentance, to agree with God who and what we are. Some of the worst monsters in history were the most fearful and paranoid, who, for this reason, felt the need to control everything around them. Yes, they are, at heart, very weak and insecure.

Now this is real....this is a man who understands how fortunate he is because of the grace and mercy given to us. I think what stands out the most and is so painfully obvious...... is the ones who are truly homospiritual lack the gratitude and humility it takes to say.....I don't have all the answers and neither do I need too.

You're a good dude VW and I for one am glad you're here.
Dude? As in not-Bud, not-Buddy, not-Babe?
