Mary is indeed an idol, as the RCC has made her equal to Jesus Christ, who ALONE is our mediator and our intercessor, and it is through Him alone and His name alone that we pray to God!
The RCC tends toward making physical things a substitute for the true, such as the rosary, various icons, scapulars, monstrance, holy water, statues, etc, etc, etc---objects of worship, and objects that evoke false worship.

You still need to answrer my question also! When was it that you first accepted Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord? Everyone who is born again has had a moment in time where one has had such a reckoning with sinfulness and have turned their hearts to Jesus Christ for salvation. For me it was August 10, 1962. When was your special new birth day?

You mwc68 are being deceived into thinking you have received Salvation. Satan will never allow you to receive Salvation, he does not want you to learn the Truth and leave the Roman Catholic Church.
You claim to have received Salvation but you still teach the lies of the Roman Catholic Church as truths from God. But you still worship Mary as your God. But you still put Mary above God with your lying mouth.
I can see you will never accept Salvation from God because having Mary as your God means more to you. And yes i can tell you have never received Salvation. You see I have the Gift of the Holy Spirit the gift of the Discerning of Spirits. The Holy Spirit has told me you are doing what the Roman Catholic Church says not what the Scriptures say. We can treat you as a false christian, a wolf in sheep clothing.
Its a shame that you are so willing to spend Eternity in the Lake of Fire. Its your PRIDE as a Roman Catholic that is keeping you from accepting the Truth from the Holy Spirit. You are not the first person in the Roman Catholic Church to toss away their Salvation just to have their ears tickled by the false doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church. And you will not be the last person either.
Unfortunately the Teachings of the Roman Catholic Church has deceived you into rejecting God to follow Mary instead. You can claim all you want that Mary is not your God, but your actions and doctrines you teach do say Mary is your God.

I'm not sure exactly what your asking and it really sounds like a set up to further dog Catholicism, but here goes. I was raised in the Church. Born and bred Catholic , Italian with a Texas accent! Lol I have known about Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ my whole life. When did I accept Him into my heart? I was in 8th grade and we had an assembly with a comedian. This guy was hilarious! He was promoting a show later that evening and my sister and I begged my mom to let us go. A neighor of ours was going and mom let us go with them. The event was being held at the big local baptist church. When the show started, He was just as funny as he was at school. Then he started telling us kids his personal story, testimony if you will. As I listened, I agreed more and more, afterall I had been raised with Jesus as a big part of my life. Then he did what I guess you would say is an altar call. My sister actually went to the front there, but I stayed in my seat and prayed and asked Jesus to come into my heart! From that moment church has been different for me. I feel the burn in my heart when I am in His will and the strong conviction when I face temptation. I hope this makes sense. I am a Christian and always will be. That's why I take some offense at the suggestion that I'm not.The year was 1983 and I don't remember the exact date, but it was fall football season.

Wow... That is far worse than i thought. Its crazy how blatant the Mary worship is. Why do they try to hide it?
As for this thread... I genuinely hope not all 1 billion catholics agree with mwc because that would mean 1 billion people claiming to be christians while they worship idols and disbelieve the Bible.
