I don't know where to begin, I have so much to say. The tone that you have used to talk to talk about my Father, and the things that you speak are very wrong. I would suggest that you first try to understand God well before you say such things for your own good. You talk in such a manner that you know everything about God, but I don't think you do. Neither do I know everything about God, but I know enough about Him to say that your wrong, here's why.
There were times where I have questioned God, where I have yelled at Him. I had failed in two of the most important things in my current age, studies and sports. That's why I kept yelling at Him, because I could never get it right. Later on I understood how wrong I was for blaming God. Have you heard of a saying which goes something like this - If you blame someone else for your failure, then you are a coward. The same way, you can't blame God for your failure. You say you worked hard, that is nice, but hard work may not bring the success that you expect, immediately. It can lead to failures at certain times as well. But I can assure you that hard work will pay of one day if you keep working hard and never give up. That is from my experience. I graduated with a good percentage in 12th grade from high school, one good enough to get me into one of the top 10 colleges in the state. But if you look at my results in 11th grade, you would never have predicted such a thing, all thanks to God. I won gold for the sport I love the most before I left the high school too, thanks to God again. He granted them to me at the right time. Also, hard work is not the only requirement, you need God with you as well. I prayed to my Father about that college and He gave me what I requested. In Galations there is a verse in the 6th chapter that tells us that a man will reap what he sows. God also promises us that He won't give us more than what we can handle. Trust in God, He is your Father as well, have a Father-son relationship with Him. Honestly, if I talked to my earthly father in such tone that you did, and say such things, he would whoop me and not give me any food for a few days. I think you need such a whooping, it will help you to remember to be grateful, grateful for the food, clothing, shelter and all the necessary things that our Heavenly Father has given you.
God has given us a free will in this life, we can choose good or evil. We can choose who we become in the future. God knows the result of our life, that result will be due to our actions, not that God forced us to be like that, just because God knows everything about our future doesn't mean that we don't have free will. God knows everything because He is the beginning and the end, we shape our future, when we become Christians we surrender ourselves to God for His will to be done. Then He works on us, like how an earthly father would work on his child and be with his child guiding his steps, but our Heavenly Father cares more than our earthly father. I hope your understanding so far.
Looks like you have gone into a much harsher tone to the bottom of your paragraph. You say that God is an unloving God and that He cares only about Himself? Why did He die on the cross for you then, Fubario? Why did He go through all that pain by being a human when we were supposed to endure that pain? Sure, because God doesn't love us isn't it?...You completely forget what God has done for you.
God's plan is something above us, it definitely it. Only what we need to know about the future is told to us by God. That is the important things. If you think that God's plan is not above us, then why don't you explain to me how quasars exist in the universe? They break the laws of physics and no human could explain how they exist. There are millions of galaxies out there, do you know why? Does any man know? No. If we can't understand the purpose of God's creations such as these in His plan about the universe, then how do you expect to grasp His whole plan of all this with our tiny mind?
Stand up like a man and start working towards your goals again, never give up, ask God for forgiveness for saying such things and trust in Him. God will be with you, He will never let you fall, if you fail, it is to learn a lesson. Whenever I do wrong, God does give me suffering, so that I remember my mistake and never repeat it. He is our Father. He has a right to punish us. When you think about Adam and Eve they didn't have any suffering until they sinned. That was the fall of man. We are born as sinners, our carnal nature is attracted to sin, we need God with us to withstand such things and the sufferings that the devil would throw on us. God's mercy and love is what has given us a chance to go to Heaven. I believe you can move ahead in life successfully with God by your side Fubario. I wish you well.

Let me tell you something. God knows I'm telling the truth when I say I'm not interested in harassing you. I'm not trying to handle you or anything related to that. You're older than I am so I have respect for you. Usually when I see you post something on some threads (which I pick randomly by the way) I see that you give good advice.
Now answer me this, if you saw a member posting something with the right intention but you felt it was it being used incorrectly wouldn't you try to explain to them why you feel they're incorrect for going about it the way did? Because that's all I did, I even made it clear that I wasn't trying to insult you, and if you felt I was wrong for correcting you, you could have explained why you felt that way, and maybe I would have learned from you, or you could've have said "that is your perspective" and I would have totally would've been cool with that, because I'm not trying to control whatever you're to say.
To be frank, I'm not the least bit interested in you or anyone one else who seem like they don't try to find common ground , and if I see ANYONE using logic that I think could tie someone up, it's likely I'll make a counterpoint, and if anyone wants to make a rebuttal against me or ignore me that's fine, but I'm going to say what I feel should be said regardless. To me you're making it sound like I'm just this guy who wants to obliterate everything you try to say.

In all honesty from my experience most of you fail to recognize how sovereign God is, seriously, hear this quote from Spurgeon: the fall of leaves from a poplar is as fully ordained as the tumbling of an avalanche. In a sense, I am discovering right now whether or not I have free will, so far I discovered I don't have free will and people are hurting me and messing me up badly, I am understanding that God however is ultimately responsible for some things and that includes letting Satan take things and hurt me and also some of my failures are because God does not permit me to succeed. If you don't believe its true that God causes people to fail, I believe you are missing the point of election. Everyone is elected to something but everything depends on the counsel of God, and also he chooses based upon his purposes, for instance Jacob versus Esau, he chose Jacob and not Esau, he chose David and not Saul, although this one is tougher because what exactly you can learn is that freewill might ahve messed Saul up or he wanted David instead of Saul. Another one is Romans 9, God chooses vessels of wrath and vessels of mercy, wait does that not mean that God foredains or knows that there are some who go to Hell, I believe yes because there was Judas, there was the antichrist, there was the enemies of Israel, and so on and so forth, and there was the devil. I am not claiming I understand it all perfectly, but there are some things I do know. There was also Job who suffered because God permitted Satan to destroy Job, in every story there is the sovereignty of God, that includes unbelievers otherwise the purposes of God would not be able to stand. In a sense, Christians have this kind of limited perspective on the sovereignty of God and that basically God is only sovereign over the Christians and not the non-Christians, but he is sovereign over the presidents including Hitler, he is sovereign over the Rothschilds and the Rockefellers, he is sovereign over everyone. I think of Nebuchanezzer who was told by Daniel you are going to experience suffering and what not and that is exactly what happened, he humbled Nebuchazanezzer yet he also raised Nebuchanezzer up to rule in Babylon. Remember God allows evil to happen in the world because of Adam and Eve yet he can also stop it, as far as I am aware there is basically some exceptions to the rule where God permits an individual to do something because of freewill, anything that should not have been done is something that went against the will of God, where as something that should have been done is the will of God, and the will of God is not necessarily the same as Scripture because if it was then we would be perfect creatures, but we are not. Mystery of sinfulness and the mystery of iniquity is that there is someone who is basically the devil incarnate and this was ordained as well, because it ushers in the righteousness of God. All in all, the purposes of God stand is what I am trying to say, that includes good and evil.

Think about this, was it God's will that Adam and Eve eat the fruit, and if it was, then what would you do? The only thing I can think of is that God by definition has to be perfect and therefore I must believe that he is perfect and my faith is in the idea that God is truly perfect and God, only thing I can believe in and have to believe in is that God is immutable and does not contradict himself and is true.
I do believe that free will exists, Fubario. I agree with you when you say that God does allow satan to bring us suffering, but never does God allow satan to give us more than what we can handle. And yes, God does permit us not to succeed, but it is with a purpose. I have always learned something new when I fail, something new which I need to know for my future needs. Give glory to God in everything that happens. Whether it is a success or a failure, give glory to Him. No matter how many times He lets you fail. They all have a purpose which you can understand if you give sometime to it.
Now about God electing certain people over the other, like Esau and Jacob. God has a purpose for that as well. Before I talk about why God elected Jacob let me clear this, God does know everything about the future, about our future too, but our future is one that we decide, God doesn't decide our future forcefully just like that. God is all-knowing, that's why He knows our future. Not because He forged our future. Coming to Esau and Jacob, God did choose Jacob from the very beginning because God loved Jacob and hated Esau. You may ask how God could hate Esau just like that, just think about it, what kind of a man was Esau and what kind of a man was Jacob? When Esau got to know that Jacob stole his birthright, Esau wanted to kill him. Why then would God choose Esau's descendants to be His chosen nation when the Father of the Edomites (Esau's descendants) was ready to kill his own brother. Instead God elected Jacob's descendants, Israelites, to be His nation. God knew Esau and how his heart will be and the choices that he will make even before Esau was born. That's why God could choose Jacob from the start. This is how I understand this.
By saying God is sovereign over people like Hitler, your saying that God made Hitler do all the stuff that he did? I don't think so, why would God harm His own nation, the Jews? It was Hitler's own will that led to his actions. Right now I can choose to follow the devil or to follow God. I choose to follow God. It's my free will, no one forced me. God didn't force me as well. Free will did exist from the beginning, Adam and Eve had a rule to follow, they broke it. If they didn't have free will then how could they disobey God? God made us to worship Him, to love Him. God didn't create robots or humans that are tied to God by chains to not have any free will. God wants us to choose that we want to follow Him and worship Him and love Him by our own desire and will. But since Adam and Eve sinned, mankind has destruction waiting for it. Jesus paid for our sins so we can be saved from that destruction. Again, God is giving us a choice to be saved. Free will again.
Yes evil and suffering came into this world when Adam and Eve sinned. And yes God can stop it, that is why He is coming back to this world.

So..you have vented, you have ranted and you have summed it all up in this long paragraph. You have expressed your opinion of what GOD does and does'nt do. IT's all figured out in your young mind. So...why are you still having issues? Could it be that you do not walk in HIS spirit, allowing the Holy Spirit to take charge, utilizing your spiritual gifts, putting your "SELF" last, JESUS FIRST and others 2nd..real J.O.Y. Why not simply ask GOD.."WHere can I be most effective for YOUR kingdom? HE never turns his attention away from you if you are sincere. You do have a flair of expressing yourself. Who knows, you may become an editor or writer. I see a bright future ahead of you if you stay focused on CHRIST.
I'm not sure if anything I say to you would help. I have had similar feelings and what helped me to put it in perspective, I think, is thinking about all that Jesus went through for me. He's been on trial, heckled, betrayed, brutalized, beaten, murdered in a slow horrible way. He was willing to go through all that for me. He was willing to bleed for me, I am willing to bleed for Him. I think we've been given some false teaching about Christian life being a cakewalk, that will not help us persevere through persecution or trials. But think about everything 'hard' Jesus went through for you, and be willing to go through hard things for Jesus too... and trust Him. "Though you slay me..." Trust that God is good and holy. The bible says He is, and He doesn't lie. Right now we only "see in part", but someday we will understand the bigger picture and how all things were used for His glory or work together for good. Read the bible. Believe it. The words are alive and the Holy Spirit uses the words to speak to you. All things in this life are temporary and all of this journey is worth the glory that is to come! Also for some reason this inner picture came to my mind just now. Daniel in the Lions Den. He could have cursed at God for being put there or praised God for shutting the lions mouths. Or Shadrak in the fire. He could have cursed God for allowing him to go there or praised God for getting him out of it in tact. Think. You've been thrown into many fires and pits ... but that does not mean God ever left you or forsook you! You can shake your fist at him or praise him but He has been at work all around you. Pauls life was full of perils. He was jailed, ship wrecked, snake bit, you name it. His journey wasn't over until it was over. The tv preaching that God just wants to give you caddillacs and roses is leading the whole world astray and will not give anyone hope when the tribulations begin. Jesus did hard things for you. He has called you to do hard things for Him. All of it is better than hell. Walking in the fullness of His will and Spirit you can do all things and endure all things. You will be struck down but not destroyed brother. In Christ you have a hope worth living and dying for that the lost world needs to know, no matter the cost. The truth, the truth is there in God's word. Don't let the deception of modern teachings be scales on your eyes. You may be hurt by false expectations. God is still good and holy. We just don't understand what we are going through or why. Just trust Him and trust in his goodness and holiness. Peace to you brother!
