1. Now we beseech you, brethren, touching the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together unto him; 2. to the end that ye be not quickly shaken from your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by epistle as from us, as that the day of the Lord is just at hand; 3. let no man beguile you in any wise: for it will not be, except the falling away come first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, 4. he that opposeth and exalteth himself against all that is called God or that is worshipped; so that he sitteth in the temple of God, setting himself forth as God (2 Tess 2:1-4)

It is about, not a man of sin, but the mankind of sin, and this mankind, which was predicted to come before the return of our Lord Jesus.

1. But know this, that in the last days grievous times shall come. 2. For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3. without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good, 4. traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; 5. holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power therefore. From these also turn away (2 Tim 3:1-5)

We live now in that last days period, and the situation is as bad, that it was predicted to be, and if you do not see that, it is because you live like those predicted last days people's.

Do not let, this last days false christianity doctrines, to lead you lost, but bend your heart to the honest seek of God's will, doing selfless good, and praying to understand from God, that you may truly know his will for you.

1) That's one interpretation. I disagree, but that's ok.

2) I agree with the second, but it will get a whole lot worse

3) Far too judgmental and you have no way of knowing it to be true. Many reasons a person might not see it. They may just be new believers not yet mature enough in Scripture to understand. Chill out with the condemnations please, that's not your/my job.

(just my opinions)

It is the sound doctrine what you can't take anymore.

If some warns you, you say "Do not judge me" and so you have reject the warning of your wrong path, and any improvement do not happen.

Can't you see that, this is why the last days are so difficult, because you can't take the sound doctrine, because your heart is in this world, and you eye's seek not the will of God anymore.

All kind of joys, and sorrows of this world, and your local church bad traditions dwells in your heart, and your mind, and the Spirit of truth can't find space on you.

You are an aged man, but you behavior is not like aged man, I can tell this only by seeing your profile pictures, it represent immature behavior.

It obvious to me, that the way of holiness is irrational for you, because you live according to the flesh, and not according to the Spirit, and you should turn you way, and separate from the values of this world, which causes the incontinence where you live now, and you local churches most likely do not help you at all, but only leads you back in that incontinence.

You do not find the behavior in the Bible what you find in today's christianity, and there is a sure reason for that. Believe me.

Wow. Not only are you flawed in saying that this world leader is not a person but mankind, your very judgmental. You do not even know the person you are responding to or what he believes and you judged him as lost. You have some serious internal reflecting to do. Your acting like satan, not like God.

as for how Christianity acts today. You can not find in the bible the way Christianity has acted since about the third century. It is not Christianity that is failing (his true children are few, and still pushin on in his power) most of what calls itself christianity does not even know who Christ is.

try to take a dose of humility before you start trying to teach others.

So the man kind of lawlessness was predicted, that it will exalt him self above all godliness, and good example for that is evolution doctrine, and also all the heresy what today's churches spread out, because they seems to act according to they own will, instead the will of God.

Today's human wisdom is above all, like the man of lawlessness predicted to exalt himself above all, and that's causes the behavior of the man of today.

And in the Lord Jesus Christ I exhort you all to separate from the values of this world time, which follow the wisdom of man, instead the wisdom of God.

The Lord Jesus Christ, is the wisdom of God, amen.

That's right, the Lord knows who are His and He marks them with the seal of His Holy Spirit. But those who are not sealed by God and His Spirit are open to attack by that Wicked.

1 John 5:18
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

2 Thessalonians 2:8-12[SUP]8 [/SUP]And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
[SUP]9 [/SUP]Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
[SUP]10 [/SUP]And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
[SUP]12 [/SUP]That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

That Wicked is "IN THEM" who have pleasure in unrighteous. A whole wicked and adulterous generation.

Mikkos is correct.

Anyone can look up the word "Anthropos" in a lexicon like Thayer's or Bauer's and can clearly see that the "man" (anthropos) is a reference to mankind.

Not only is the word "Anthropos" used but the context of the passage itself substantiates this understanding. We are meant to be the temple of God and when religion is mixed with self worship (which is what unrepentant religious people do) then they have set themselves up in the temple of God as God.

In the early days of Christianity repentance, faith, grace, salvation and sin had not been redefined. Deeds mattered back then, if one was doing evil they were not recognised as a Christ follower. Today such a recognition is far gone and Christianity is premised (in the minds of many) upon mere lip service to some accepted dogma. The modern farce of Christianity argues in favour of sin and opposes true righteousness, true righteousness which is simply DOING what is right in accordance with the will of God.

Most people have taken the Mark of the Beast without even realising it. They serve Satan without conviction because they think that sin is a necessity and that grace is a cloak or license for ongoing wickedness.

Ask practically any professing Christian today if they can willfully sin and not surely be condemned. They surely believe that they can. They have fallen for Satan's very first lie, a lie which has been dressed up in modern garb, yet is the same original lie.

The Bible clearly warns of a future massive religious deception which would fool most people.

Jesus warned that there would be MANY people who would profess His name and stand rejected because they were workers of iniquity.

Workers of iniquity.

In other words they NEVER departed from wickedness. They NEVER truly repented. They NEVER ceased from willful sin.

Multitudes of professing Christians today proclaim they are saved and heaven bound and yet continually defend the notion that they cannot stop willfully sinning. They defend sinning is normal and unavoidable. They oppose any teaching which upholds heart purity and a cessation of working iniquity.

Jesus plainly stated that FEW would be saved. Jesus said MANY would seek but FEW would find. What separates the FEW from the MANY? Simple. The few DID whilst the many DID NOT.

Look at many of the parables of Jesus where the wicked is compared to the righteous. The difference is the DOING. The faithful DO the will of God whilst the wicked refuse.

We live in one of the darkest times in all of human history. Is it any wonder that a statement was made once, "shall I find faith when I return?"

The Irony in? It is going to be people with his mentality that fall for the man of lawlessness. They think he is going to be some murdering psycho. when in actuality, He is a very close counterfeit to Christ. Their "holier then thou" attitude will cuddle right up with him.

Ephesians 2:2
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience

1 Corinthians 2:12
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Agreed. We get to KNOW the things that God freely gives us.

God freely gives us the gift of eternal life. Rom 6:23

That gift is irrevocable. Rom 11:29

The Holy Spirit reveals that to us by His sealing us. So we KNOW.

The spirit of the world and unrighteousness, says the gift of eternal life can be revoked.

Here is a one literal translation, of that original Creek scripture, about that man of lawlessness.

4. The, opposing, and, exalting himself, above every, so-called, god, or, object of worship, so as for, him, in, the, temple, of God, to sit down, setting fort, he himself, that, his is God. (2 Thessalonians 2:4)

And like we may see, that the man of lawlessness will, come in a way, that he invalidate all godliness, like example the evolution doctrine do.

And the man of lawlessness will not sit, but act like, the temple of God is for him, like today's human wisdom in practice is doing.

And the man of the lawlessness will like show by proof, that God is his, so again like the human wisdom of today, which has exalt it self above God, and claiming that there is no bigger wisdom, than the wisdom of a man.

The number of the beast is a man, and I believe that also that represent the wisdom of man, which try to rule, without God, so the wisdom which negates all godliness.

Below is a link to that original Creek scripture

2 Thessalonians 2:4 Interlinear: who is opposing and is raising himself up above all called God or worshipped, so that he in the sanctuary of God as God hath sat down, shewing himself off that he is God -- the day doth not come.

Many deny the words of God in prophecy when He said there would come a falling away from the faith. Many who hold back the truth in unrighteousness say this can not happen. This is all part of the deception, and that which was prophesied to come.

1 Timothy 4:1
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Those who say you cannot stop sinning speak of their own disobedient condition, and are considered cursed children.

2 Peter 2:14
Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

I agree. Most believers have committed adultery with their husband(Christ). They aren't filled with the Spirit and are walking in the flesh, thinking they might not have eternal life or can lose eternal and have turned their back on Christ, to find some other way.

They deny the words of God, you shall never perish, you have eternal life, you WILL be saved, kept by the power of God and many other words of God.

They quench the Spirit that sealed them. Eyes full of adultery.......SELF salvation.

What's wrong with you? The Corinthian Church was a mess, yet Paul still treated them as dear children.Maybe it's teachings like yours that is the mark of the beast leading people into self works/self worship.

Perhaps you are confusing the spirit of antichristian lies with the actual person. The lies don't end up in the Lake of fire but the beast does.

Revelation 20:10 (KJV) And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

The man of sin is the ruler of this world. it is satan, Who is empowering the future son of perdition, who is the final beast of daniel.

Does any one study the whole of scripture anymore? Oh wait, your a pharisee, who has not yet been born of God. so scripture is not understandable to you yet, I forgot. (unless one day you actually found the right gospel. but just left it) then again, I doubt that even considering all pauls warnings about returning not legalism, and rejecting grace.

I guess the apostle John is a cursed child. for he said anyone (including himself) who states he is without sin is decieved, and there is no truth in them.

Thanks But I will stick with john on this one, there is a huge difference between being a mature believer, and living in sin, yet even a mature believer is not perfect.

I guess reading scripture is a lost art. seems people do not wish to study it any more. just make up stuff from just a few verses here and their, and call themselves teachers of God.
