"LOST" wasn't cancelled, it was one of those rare TV series that finished on its own terms (after the writers negotiated for an ending early-Season 3 - it shows). No, "LOST" isn't still airing. The series finished in mid-2010, lasting for six seasons, totaling 121 episodes. I've just finished rewatching it for the third time and Reborn just mentioned it here, out of the blue. Sure "LOST" was weird, it was a speculative mystery drama series. What did you expect? :D You should give it another go. :)

The title "Lost" just sounds beyond creepy to me... Yet another reason why I won't watch it lol

"Hello Michael"

What do you think it all means? A bit cryptic if you ask me?
I'll be back, l'm going to go think about it for a bit.

Creepy? I'm not sure why. The TV series is all about lost people finding redemption. It's one of the most Christian-themed TV series I've ever seen (not purely) but it's definitely there.

Actually, it's a bit more like something Benjamin Linus would say. "Hello, Michael".

a note as in an email? pm? real life? lol

on another note (hehe): please pray for me. lately, i've been kinda not looking fwd to teaching my class. see what had happen was:

when i first started teaching, i had a room full of extroverts, which made it way easier for me to teach (weird, right?) because i would bounce off from their energy. they would actually answer questions, ask questions, engage in the topic, and many times change the subject, which i didn't mind. if i saw the whole group interested in the different topic, i went with it and took the opportunity to teach.

the group i have now is all introverts. i understand how they feel because i'm an introvert myself, but it's making class time difficult! :( i know i can be a better teacher, preparing myself more than before. but... it's discouraging. i know the seed is planted. i know they'll remember some stuff in the future. i guess i feel like i'm failing.

so yah.

Goodnight, bro!

I don't remember the show mentioning anything about Hurley's age. I presume, given he was making the rules now, he could live as long as he wanted. After all, Jacob came to the Island around the time of Jesus, so that's what - roughly 2,000 years later that he's killed? I don't know if we watched completely different shows, but Australia didn't screen the super-confusing plane crash sequence, following the finale (but it's on the DVD - grrrrr!)
Okay, brother. I rewatched those scenes and the 12-minute short "The New Man in Charge" and still haven't discovered any mention of how long they would or did live. The final season definitely borrows heavily from The Bible, "The Matrix" and even a bit from "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Last Battle". Very cool.

I think l need to go back and watch it again too.

Hmm? I apologize.

ONE topic.
A MILLION opinions?

I'm not really use to that in the BDF.:)

When it gets quiet....pick up the gittar and start singing.....I bet they will sing along too and you know what? You remember things that are sung much longer than all the talking stuff, because I read the Bible now and break out in singing because as I am reading I run across the lyrics someone has made into a song written from the Bible.... So sing those lessons....

Tourist is always amazed when I break out singing while he is trying to read the Bible because he just read lyrics.....lol

Well, there you go... I didn't know this... (Or are you yanking my chain? :p)

I am more interested in waiting for A.D. To come out on dvd... I started to watch that series at least but I kept forgetting about it and missing the show... So I'll just have to wait till its out on DVD or on Netflix :)

Well, "LOST" isn't biblical fiction or anything like that but there's a lot of Judeo-Christian content all the way through (the Bible seems to be their main inspiration for the series, along with Stephen King's The Stand and to a smaller extent, The Chronicles of Narnia). The two main writers are a secular Jew and a committed Christian, so I guess that's no surprise.

In the class I chaperone... There is a mix of both introverts and extroverts.. I am an extrovert, so I have fun with those kids... The introverts are more "what the crap is going on here...?" Lol. I'll be praying that God guides you through your class, so you can get the word and the see in their hearts. You have a heart of Gold, and I know God will use you to do his will in your class this morning.

Just stay strong, be confident and just have some patience , I know it's hard to do so... But that's what God is teaching us... About patience.

You can do anything through Christ who strengthens you!! ❤️
