Please just give me one verse from anywhere in the bible that states Christ is the one true God and you must believe it to inherit eternal life. If you cannot, you must believe salvational belief is not plainly written in the bible.the holy spirit would never do such a thing, but the mind of man....

You need to address the words of Christ before darting elsewhere. You refuse to accept the direct words of Christ, Paul and john to hold to your man made belief derived of the scholar and theologian
This is going nowhere. Your understanding of scripture is adolescent at best. You refuse to listen to anything anyone tries to explain to you. "...fools despise wisdom and instruction" so there is no point in me continuing this.

Jesus stated only the father is the one true God. You have trouble accepting christs words, so what are you left to do?
". . .and the Word was God. . .The Word became flesh. . ." (Jn 1:1, 13)

in Jesus of Nazareth, God the Son, second of three divine persons in the one true God.

Your setting the Scriptures against themselves is ipso facto proof that you do not understand them,
for God does not contradict himself in his word written.

Jesus is noted as the eternal life that was with the Father,

(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us)

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true,

and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ.

This is the true God, and eternal life.

That
eternal life, which was with the Father,

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life:

and they are they which testify of me.

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life isin his Son.

Again,

(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us)

I had to correct that one

Saying the father is greater than he (the one true God or whatever) does not take away from the diety of Christ. or mean he is not God himself.

I imagine to you it is adolescent to accept the words of Christ on this issue, let alone Paul. For to accept the simple statements of scripture directly related to this subject would rob the would be scholar and theologian of what they revel in. I wont say you are adolescent in understanding. Personal insults are the sign of someone who has lost the argument and has nowhere to go

Since scripture tells us that the Father is God, Jesus is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, and that there is only ONE God then what must change is your understanding of "one" in relationship to God. Until you do this you will never understand the God the Bible. I will waste no more time on you with this.

You refuse to accept the words of Christ himself in relation to thi subject. I don't find that exasperating, but rather sad
You set the Scriptures against themselves, ipso facto proof that you do not understand them, for
God does not contradict himself in his word written.

And that's blind. . .

It is you setting scripture against scripture. O am giving you the words of Christ directly related to this issue

Btw we believe in the same Jesus, but some follow the doctrines of man, and some rely on the plain word of the bible

I must be invisible...I'll try this post again....

Matthew 26--Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;60But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses, 61And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days. 62And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee? 63But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.64Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.65Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy. 66What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of death.

Matthew 16---When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, SimonBarjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Fatherwhich is in heaven.

John 8---Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
John 10-- I and the Father are One.

John 14-- He who has seen me has seen the Father.

Just to name a few. If Jesus didnt claim to be God why did the priest rip his robe? Why did he say it was blasphemy, what Jesus had said?

Luke 1:47
And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.

1 Timothy 1:1
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the commandment of God our Savior and the Lord Jesus Christ, our hope,

1 Timothy 2:3
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,

1 Timothy 4:10
For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach,[SUP][a][/SUP] because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.

Titus 1:3
but has in due time manifested His word through preaching, which was committed to me according to the commandment of God our Savior;

Yet jesus called himself God. and never denied not being God (in fact it was the very reason they crucified him)

So we have a major problem.
.

if the Father is the only God. Our redeemer is a liar and we are still dead in our sin.
The Father is not the only divine person in the one true God.

The Son and the Holy Spirit are also divine persons in the one true God.

Scripture does not tell us Christ is the one true God for he states only the father is. That surely is as basic as it gets. I do not ignore the words of Christ to follow men

Jn 8:24 - "You will die in your sin if you do not believe that I am." (Jn 13:19)

"I am"
(from above, and who I say I am, here).
This is a major fallacy in thinking. If Jesus is God himself because he said I Am the we can term God himself an angel, for the angel spoke the words I AM from the burning bush. I do not believe God is an angel
Actually, it is a major fallacy in belief.

Your setting the Sriptures against themselves is ipso facto proof that you do not understand them,
for God does not contradict himself in his word written.

God does not contradict himself in his word. That is why you cannot produce one verse of scripture from the entire bible that states Christ is the one true God, let alone one that says you must believe that to inherit eternal life

Jesus made plain who a person must believe him to be to inherit eternal life, the son of God. There is not one verse of scripture in the entire bible that contradicts this requirement by adding to it
". . .and the Word was God. . .The Word became flesh. . ." (Jn 1:1, 13)
in the man Jesus of Nazareth, God the Son.

I cannot hep but wonder how he explains John1:1. He doesn't know anything about the Greek and has denied or refused to acknowledge every scripture I have shown him. He simply refuses to accept what Jesus has said about himself or what the Father has sad about him or what the Holy Spirit through the NT writers have declared about him. This man does not believe in the Jesus of the Bible. I wouldn't waste any more time with him. We are charged by the Lord himself not to "give that which is holy to the dogs." Lord willing, one day perhaps he will figure it out.

What part of Jn 1:1, 13 do you not understand?
What do you fail to understand of Jesus words? The father is the one true God and greater than the son john 14:28 & john 17:3
Your setting the word of God (Jn 1:1, 13) against itself (Jn 14:28, 17:3) is ipso facto proof that you do not understand it, for God does not contradict himself in his word written.
