The OP,now banned, got what they wanted,to stir up strife. They did not come for answers or prayer. They accomplished their mission. A pity.

And it only took a couple comments from him to get all of us Christians to start attacking, insulting, and telling him to “GET OUT”, to do it huh. I think it's a way worse reflection on us than it is on him, he is of the world what do you expect out of him? We are supposed to show love, mercy, and be welcoming regardless of his intentions and actions, do you think that we handled that very well? Even if it was a complete waste of time, do you think “Get Out” is a good way to represent Christ to the world?

The example I can think of is Luke 23:34 34 But Jesus was saying, "Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing."

And this after He was wrongly convicted, beaten, whipped, and nailed to a cross to suffer God’s wrath. I think that would be a little worse than whatever this guy’s intentions were coming here. I just feel we, as regenerated Christians, should have offered a hand in love and mercy BEFORE saying, "He's just trolling ban him". I mean he's going to do what he's going to do anyway, but are we supposed to let his actions dictate our behavior? Even if he just slapped our hands away and kept on THEN dust off our shoes and send him on his way, but I have a problem with the first thing he hears from Christians being "you’re going to burn, get out we don't like your kind here”. I agree with everything said about his sin and that if he kept on with the same thing to get him out, but I don't think the way he was addressed from the very beginning was very Christian at all.

So as far as “The OP,now banned, got what they wanted,to stir up strife. They did not come for answers or prayer. They accomplished their mission.” He sure did, and we let him plain and simple.

That was where I was coming from yesterday and my only point, I wasn't saying we should be ok or accept any sin just to be PC, or let him do anything he wants to avoid "hurting feelings" or anything like that. I'm just glad Jesus didn't treat me like that, and I deserved to be treated that way.

Thanks mind-readers. 'Decadence'?
What? Yes, I disrespect the untruths,
but I pray for your, and their, souls
And what untruths would those be, Grasshopper?

You need to ignore this guy. He is just a kid and doesn't have a clue what he is talking about.
You're right, pastor. I'm just astonished at the forked-tongue arrogance of this 15 year old. Its almost intriguing and that's why I responded to him. Yet I will heed your advice.

The title pastor does not apply to me. I am not an elder of the Church.

And what untruths would those be
The falsehood that because we know the law, we can fulfill it.
Another deceit, or ignorance, being that Paul could overcome sin by his will, in Romans 7.
"For I delight in the law of God according to the inner man, but I see a different law in my members,
warring against the law of my mind and making me a captive to the law of sin which is in my members"
Rom 7:22-23

I thought you were a retired minister. No disrespect intended towards you whatsoever.

Its not. People are born a sexuality. No one can choose to just be attracted to a certain gender.
The Bible says God wants all to be saved, God loves YOU, but would YOU love God enough to change YOUR ways?, something to consider, take care. I actully know Christians who battle with same sex desires but they say they try to do the will of God, and that's all we can do, we are all born with the tendency to do what our own desires want us to do. It's a tough fight for sure.

No matter what the battle, Jesus Christ has given us His power and authority to defeat the enemy who comes against us, no matter what the arena. With the Holy Spirit's empowerment, and the truth of God's word, plus the entire suit of spiritual armour offered to us, striving with anything---including homosexuality, doesn't have to be so formidable.

Yes and he commanded his followers to love the enemy and to love those who hate you.
