I know I'm gonna get jumped on for saying this, but I don't really care.. Honestly, alot of you people need to grow up and act like adults. Act like the christians you CLAIM to be. Claims don't mean diddly squat if you can't back them up. There are so many rude, sarcastic, self-righteous people on this forum that it is truly disgusting. I'm sure most of you are aware that you are greatly disappointing your God. Probably some of you don't even give a crap. Y'all need to stop being so full of hate and disrespect and rudeness. Start acting like Jesus. It's what he calls you to do and y'all are disobeying him blatantly. Come down off your soap boxes and get back down to reality.. I have NEVER seen a more hateful, self-righteously rude forum on any other site other than this one. I am truly appalled that people act this way.

As someone on another thread stated, even atheists and devil worshippers act more respectable than people on here do. And I'm sorry to say that I think that's true. Some of you seem to like serving Satan instead of Jesus.. Got news for you. YOU'RE the ones who won't make it to heaven. Y'all are christian men and women, or profess to be. The proof is in your actions and words. Start living up to your professions.. Stop being so cruel, rude, insensitive, and disrespectful of others and start making God proud. Start acting like he commands you to act..

Wow! This thread died a sudden death, but the "heresies of the few" is still in good health. I wonder why? That might be in relation to "many are called but few are chosen," maybe?
Matthew 20:16, and Matthew 22:14
Hi just-me.

I don't think that it died. On my part, I just feel God urging me to spend some time with Him in regard to certain areas of my own life so that's what I'm focusing on at the moment. Also, as I've repeatedly mentioned, none of us should ever seek to force any increase. Open wounds take some time to heal, but I honestly believe that some healing has begun to a degree.

That sounds like solid advice to me.

Thanks for sharing.

Amen! A-a-a-a-men!
I'm sure we would have much more enlightening edifying discussion if those who are compelled to be hateful would exercise some self control and act as Jesus did - are we not to have the mind of Christ?

I hope so. When I first joined this site on March 4th, 2013, I thought that I had found a congregation that many could be edified in. It wasn't long until I found that the doctrine that I believe in, and has been proven to me (I'm still growing in this truth), was not according to today's doctrines that seem to be the norm. Since that point, probably before last year began, I have seen the opposite of what the Bible says a church should be when only a minority believed as I do. I feel I have done some good, but then I posted 3 scriptures in my signature, and the railing lessened a bit. I have reported many, but all I have reported were never banned as many friends of mine were. I invite anyone to learn of my beliefs for the asking, for I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. Rules are not to mention people that are banned, but I live in a tongue and cheek world when I post. LOL

amen and amen.. I think people need to read Ephesians 4:1-3. I will post it here for those who don't
care enough to look it up.

Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (Ephesians 4:1-3)

Maybe if more people could practice what the bible says, there wouldn't be so much hate in this world..

and I have no idea why my font and color just changed. lol

IMO, this is blown way out of porportion. The vast majority of posters are just firm and believe what they believe.

I believe that 95% of the people here believe that they have the something of value to share with others. Their heart is not to harm, but help.

If someone gets frustrated at me for not going along with them and I get called a name. It is not personal to me its just somebody who is frustrated because they want to give me something that is of value to them and I reject it.

For the most part, I do not think people have malicious intents. They think they have something of value to give to others and get frustrated when it is rejected.

But I am going out on a limb, and say most here keep it pretty polite.

Ephesians chapter 4 verses 1 thru 3

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

I hope that you don't mind that I reposted these verses so that they're easier to read.

I was actually meditating upon this exact portion of scripture earlier today. As powerful as these words are by themselves, I believe that they become even more powerful when we consider Paul's use of the word therefore. In other words, in light of what he had just finished explaining to them, these Christians at Ephesus were expected to fulfill their vocations in all lowliness and meekness. Well, what had Paul just finished telling them? That they had been raised up and seated together with Christ in heavenly places, spiritually speaking, far above all principality and power and might and dominion. Yes, even from the most exalted place, these Christians were expected to manifest lowliness and meekness throughout their lives.

Is that what we see here? In some, yes, in others, no. No matter how exalted one might think themselves to be in their own estimation of themselves, I'd just like to remind all of us that Jesus said that the chiefest among us would be the servants of all. Christ girded Himself with a towel and washed His disciples feet. Let's never forget His example.

maybe it was a typo and he meant Matt 23, as that seems to fit what he's saying?

I had to get out a dictionary to make sure that I understood what that meant.

Remember, you're speaking to some males here.

Grunt every now and then so we know what you're talking about.
