Does God hate Sinners?

No, God's hate is different with humans' hatred. That is the problem. Just like God's love is unconditional, while humans' love are conditional.
God is just, but humans are not just. On the other hands, humans are sinning and sinning even to the point like fish doesn't realize it is under the water. Now if God is Just what shall He do to humans? In addition are not all sins are consequentially an abomination to God? What is the fitting punishment for abomination to a Holy and Almighty God? Now imagine times that with billions and billions of sinners. Is it wrong for God to hate after being abominated billion times? Of course not.

Now Jesus realizes not even any creation (or any angel) can withstand such uncountable punishment that God is going to unleash to satisfy His Justice. That's when Jesus, willingly, as some brothers have posted here, come out and say: "I will demonstrate my love towards them, sinners, Father. I will bore the punishment that is due to them, Father!".

Do you see that? That is the true Gospel, where Christ becomes the propitiation for us, sinners, whom deserve the hatred and justice of God.

Whether you are Calvinist, Armenian, or something in between, that is a dichotomy you cannot resolve if God actually hates sinners. Washer doesn't resolve it either.

First of all, it is not my dichotomy or brother Paul Washer's dichotomy. It's God's dichotomy, revealed through David in Psalms.

Secondly, please see my post above to sister Miro, not as a resolution, but just the Gospel as it is. The full counsel of God's Gospel.

That's reasonable to say, but it isn't reasonable to explain. Washer does not appear to understand that hate is not the antithesis of love. That is apathy, and God is anything but apathetic.

Please let us 'together' rephrase the 'title' of the tread first to 'as it is written'.

'As it is written', that;

"GOD hates sin."

Also 'as it is written and JESUS said in the Gospel', that;

"Healthy people do not need doctor/physician, but sick people do. I did not come to invite the good, but sinners."

JESUS is the only doctor/physician of the written New Covenant/Testament, who have called all 'believers', to 'abide' and 'practice' and 'bear much fruit' and their 'fruit must also abide'.

May GOD the FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST bless you all with HIS kindness and peace, which is being 'revealed', as a reminder and a stir up of memory, to 'as it is written' and have been taught by the HOLY SPIRIT, those who continue with the HOLY BIBLE.

The word used is the Hebrew 'saw nee tiy'; which means I despised, I detested, or I abhored. That is pretty strong language for an accomodation. Perhaps you might want to rethink this.

We are all sinners... Jesus loved his disciples and they were all sinners.

God sent his Only Begotten Son into a fallen world to save sinners, but God also promised to throw all unrepentant sinners who reject Christ into the Lake of Fire. So yes and no, God loves every sinner and desires we each come to repentance, but God will not tolerate those who reject Christ and willfully sin.. jmo

The only real way to know the answer to this question is to get to know God on a personal level, not just read about Him.
And before anyone thinks I'm discounting or undermining the Word...think again :)

Amen brother. In conclusion, He loves those who has been regenerated by Christ for one single reason: He sees Christ in them.
