so are you Geek enough? Not nerd enough but geek enough ok? Geeks are in opinion the coolest funniest and most fun ppl, they are into stuff like pokemon anime little kid shows and things like spngebob they are quirky which is what I love about them best and most of them are great in social activities they are silly rambunctious and are different than average ppl. They dress in a fun unique way they have qualities that make them easy going and easy to get along with ( for the most part)

Geeky is trendy.

I carry a lightsaber on the weekends. For protection.
I really believe that Darth Vader is coming after me.

I owe him rent money.

How are you defining the difference between Geek and Nerd, some find they are the same or parallel?

This has been the topic of much debate across the whole internet. If you really want to get into this we're going to have to get into the many definitions of each... and what sectors of the populace have which definitions... and the 10 minute slideshow presentation... and someone will (probably accurately) conclude I am both. :p

Here's the thumbnail version:
A geek is a person who is really, really into something. Like a car geek or a my little pony geek. My dad is a rock geek. Geeks can blend in with society fairly well. In fact you may not even know the person you're talking to is a geek unless you happen to hit his geek topic and he geeks out about it. Speaking of which, don't ever, ever, ever mention rocks to my dad. He will talk for hours and HOURS about each stone he has with him, how he cut it, how he polished it, what it is commonly used for...

A nerd is a computer geek.

Yup, it's that simple.

Geeks are really into something like they are obsessed with a certain thing sometimes more plus what I posted in the op. Nerds are different they are more into education and strategy games to test their minds and logic skills geeks love fun video games. Nerds are usually seen as anti social as to if this is true or not idk

Ahem.. Class pay attention, a dork is the definition of person who is silly or acting silly usually used in a playful manner not to be confused with nerd or geek as many tend to do. Now on with the subject for next week...

Pittsburgh engineer Burr Settles studied the language of 2.6 million tweets to discover the geekiest and nerdiest words and topics. The further along the horizontal axis, pictured, a word appeared, the more nerdy it was. The higher a word appeared on the vertical, y-axis, the more it was associated with being a geek.

This illustrated in the following graph below.

When I was in high school we mostly used the word "nerd," not geek. I didn't seem to fit in with the "in crowd" or the "nerd herd." I was just somewhere in the middle. I do know some awesome geeks though!

Well, all throughout my high school years I was a band geek, still am. Now, I am all about numbers, balance sheets, income statements, and statement of owners equity and they all get to balance, which makes a person like me a very happy camper. What else? I know, I love to clean and organize and find joy in tasks others just despise and I find that I have conversations with myself. Would I qualify as being geeky? One thing, I do know is I am very weird.

I wonder what I am? the only thing I am truly passionate about is God, I do enjoy playing video games sometimes and I like anime but If I wasn't a Christians I would make a living studying outer space and the stars and such.
I am weird for sure I talk to my cats as if they can understand me and I talk to myself a lot to but worst of all I answer myself.
Most ppl would think I am crazy but I think I am just wierd and not afraid to be myself, they must accept the weirdness:b

When someone analyzes 2.6 million tweets to make that graph, where does he fit on the graph? He was the one who stayed at home making a graph when the rest of them were out partying. :p

Don't worry Blain. Talking to yourself is no problem. Answering yourself is not a problem either... but you might want to worry when you slap yourself in the face over what you said about your mother.

Actually I still talk to Myself but I don't talk to Me anymore. Me thinks he's five different people. I and Myself just leave Me alone these days. He's nuts!
