I've honestly often wondered the exact same thing. A friend once told me that if we let go of the desire to find a man, and let God handle it, and stop looking for it on our own, then eventually it will happen. God knows the desires of our hearts, and wants us to have the desires of our hearts, but he wants us to desire him above all else. Only when we fully look to Christ will the true desires of our hearts be received.

I agree! There are men out there....somewhere...lol. But we just have to let God be the provider. When we're really happy in ourselves and are where God wants us to be, then they'll come along. Its's all in God's time

If you find yourself daydreaming more about meeting the other person than meditating on God, then..i think it'd be good to try and switch it around and think about God more often.

The first two reponses you had to your question are indeed some of the best I have seen on these subjects/questions...........And this is Scriptural........NOT NECESSARRILY EASY TO DO, BUT WORTH IT.............Besides, wouldn't you rather wait for the right one as presented by The LORD Himself, and it be what you want in a man? Rather than crying out to Him to fix all the problems, because it was rushed?
You are very young yet, and very attractive, so don't worry at all, drawing closer to The LORD will indeed teach you just how beautiful of a BRIDE to JESUS you are!!! This is certainly the best path, then, He will direct a man to you that KNOWS that WOMEN ARE THE CROWN OF CREATION.........
.......AND HE WILL TREAT YOU THE SAME AS JESUS WOULD............
Now doesn't that sound like something worth waiting for??? Draw near to HIM..............I know He wants to show you this. Get ready to fall in Love with JESUS.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone! I think for me personally I find it harder to wait because I am a single mom and I am totally ready to settle down and it starts to get really sad and lonely when no one wants u, but I agree that I should focus on the Lord and he will direct my paths.
it's just as hard for any man to meet an honest, loving, Christian woman...
giving it to God is not simply an overnight thing... it takes time and faith in Him... but it's certainly NOT impossible.

Yeah I agree it can be hard for both.But they are out there, you just got to find organizations that really support them we have one on my campus, adn there are very few guys in there whom i wouldnt set up with one of my chrsitian friends.

Yeah, it's hard sometimes...i agree But just trust in God that he is in complete control of your life. Sometimes waiting on God is the hardest part, but it is the most rewarding

Learning God's plan for our lives always involves waiting and resting in Him. But one way of helping the time pass is to look for the other times He has answered, that are blessings. Concentrate on them in the hard times. Keep on praising Him for the good things He has done and trust in His perfect timing for the things that havene't happened yet. It is an honour to be counted worthy of His training, which is what is happening when we wait and wait and wait! God be with you.
