You know I would agree with what you said as well, but the over all points I made were more applicable to the OP than anything else....of course God is merciful and can heal and forgive even the most grievous sin.....

i think abortion is wrong but have never thought it was murder. murder is killing a human and your not a human until you are born.
Exodus 21:22
And should men quarrel and hit a pregnant woman, and she miscarries but there is no fatality, he shall surely be punished, when the woman's husband makes demands of him, and he shall give [restitution] according to the judges. 23 But if there is a fatality, you shall give a life for a life

if the unborn baby dies, you pay a fine but if the woman dies you pay with your life.


again i think abortion is wrong, i just think its incorrect to call it murder. IMO

Maybe look up the Greek word applied unto John the Baptist at 6 months in his mother's womb when he leapt for joy at the sounding of Mary's voice......and the fact that there was a financial price as well as an eye for an eye depending upon the circumstances surrounding the loss of a child in the womb......Exodus 21:22-25....and what if the husband deems life for life?

the exodus seems to make a distinction between miscarriage and fatality. thats what i see but i could be wrong.
i dont think you become a complete human until you have a soul. i always thought you attained that when you took your first breath like Adam did. OMO

Life at conception begins....also watch a late term abortion, babies in utero feel pain and scream.

If I remember right the word applied unto John at 6 months in the womb is babe in arms.....and the child leapt for joy at the sounding of Mary's voice.....does that seem like one who is not alive and or a child? And the fact that there is a price to pay up to an eye for and eye? I believe that it seems obvious that life begins at conception.....IMV

Late term abortions, they induce labor and when the baby is coming out -- just the head -- they puncture the back of the neck to kill the baby. Whew! Good thing it wasn't born yet, right?

if the babys head was out i would call that born and the doctor a murderer, a murderer of a defenseless, innocent child guess the doctor would say he is just doing his job, like the SS officers were doing their job when they marched the Jews to the gas chambers.

Is there ever a reason to advocate for abortion? I can't really think of a good one.

Is there ever a reason to advocate for premarital sex, smoking, over eating, gossiping, being disrespectful to our parents, lusting, or any one of the other sins we commit daily? I can't really think of one.

There is a simplistic beauty to following Christ. Overeating can cause the body (temple) to become unhealthy, as can smoking, drinking to excess, and a host of other things the Bible warns against. Premarital sex, adultery, lust and abortion can and usually does lead to disease, depression, lack of men's rights, lack of women's rights and a host of other ailments in our bodies and societies.......There are consequences to every action.....good choices give us good consequences, and bad choices lead us to bad consequences....not all "punishments" met to us are met to us upon meeting God one day......some have real consequences here on Earth. The good news (to me) is that everything can be forgiven....even if the physical consequence has already been done to us. The other part of this great news is that this Earthly body is temporary. Peace!!

im not for abortion but if i was teaching the bible i would never lie to someone saying the bible says something that was not clearly stated.

just want to say again im not for abortion. im just saying i dont believe in twisting, editing or taking scriptures out of context to prove a point.once we cross that line then were do we go? the bible clearly says its wrong but doesnt say its murder, why cant we leave it at that?

The Bible says if you harm a little one its better a millstone be hung round your neck and cast into the deepest sea. Does the picture crossnote shared not look like a child to you.Not trying to be nasty,just to cause you to think.If you can feel pain,you are alive. You have the breath of God in you.Think of all the little ones,who knows what they could have been? If you are against abortion,and you are,then when does it become abortion? Just wondering...
