well as you probably know nothing about the uk I can excuse you. Spurgeon's College is far from being a 'fundie creationist college'. it is highly academic and does not take up a view on the' creationist (in the American sense)/intelligently guided evolution' positions. It is not seen as a big deal over here.

As I believe the Bible teaches that while the flood was of vast proportions, but not one that was worldwide, I have none of the problems you suggest.

The "out of date Jewish scholar" (how can one be out of date if his words have value ?) and the "Jew without a clue" left us with a pile of pearls of wisdom.

I see alot of talk about Dr. Kent Hovind. I have noticed that the people who say he's a fraud say it because of his stand on Creation not because he stood up to the IRS. I am set to defend the gospel. I truly believe that the world is less then 6,000 years old and that is what the Bible clearly teaches, imo. Comments?

It is not that anyone should believe me, in particular; rather, I am only interested that they believe the Word of God - and, as far as 'modern reality' goes - that they believe "the facts" that may be readily seen by eyes that have been opened to the truth about the world we live in.

I am not looking for followers; rather, I am only trying to get people to see the truth about the world we live in - so that they may better prepare for what is coming upon the Earth.

Satan has accomplished massive deception on the Earth. Almost everything the average person "knows" about the "modern reality" is, in fact, not as it seems.

In the movie The Matrix, what was depicted by the 'matrix' - and what it represents - has a much closer resemblance to "every day life" in the "modern reality" than most people think - or are willing to consider. ( I am not talking about the 'physical' nature of what was depicted in the movie - that, of course, is just Hollywood... ( BTW - you know the meaning of the word 'hollywood', and what it represents - right? ) )

Almost certainly 10000 years ago. How much earlier I do not pretend to know.

I am not being evasive. I do not know how old mankind is. I am aware of the problems with all the theories. But I accept that the Scriptures, properly interpreted, are a true record, not a mythical record.

LOL they appeared out of Babylon and other parts when they arrived back in Palestine and established the Jewish nation. Before that they were Israel or Judah.
