If I compared chasing or pursuing, the way God has done till now... Do we human boasful being see THAT as a weakness?
If I compared steadfastness to enduring and being coherent to what a person said, like "I love all of you", could I call such ENDURANCE being weak or desperate?
Oooooops!
How arrogant I am to see His love seeks and looks after those He chose.
Let´s talk about Ruth?
Was she humiliated for showing off her intentions to being married?
1) Boaz asked whom she belonged (Rth_2:5)
2) When
his heart was merry (Rth_3:7) That woman slept untouched, and counsealed? (Rth 3:11, 14)
3) He commanded his workers NOT to humiliate her (Rth_2:15)
4) He was an old gentleman!
God, similarly, has being protrayed as in a wanting of things He needed from men, such as one needing worship and other things, making "Him" a sort of weak being:
We are the ones needing Him to be worshipped, obeyed and believed (to be spiritually healed, totally)
God is aware His love has been despised and denied, He knows
we are incoherent when we´ve said "we loved Him" (Eze_16:30)
He´s been pursuing human kind for centuries, and He´s willing to do so (Eze_34:11, 16) knowing we have been unloyal on cheating on Him (Hos_2:7, 3:5)
Does God want men to offer Him anything He lacked or wanted? (Isa_1:11-14)
He just sought
human´s obedience. (Eze_33:11; Isa 1:16-17)
But do we insist He lacked anything we could give the GIVER?
Psa 50:7 My people, I am God! Israel, I am your God. Listen to my charges against you.
Psa 50:8 Although you offer sacrifices and always bring gifts,
Psa 50:9 I won't accept your offerings of bulls and goats.
Psa 50:10 Every animal in the forest belongs to me, and so do the cattle on a thousand hills.
Psa 50:11 I know all the birds in the mountains, and every wild creature is in my care.
Psa 50:12 If I were hungry, I wouldn't tell you, because I own the world and everything in it.
Psa 50:13 I don't eat the meat of bulls or drink the blood of goats.
Psa 50:14 I am God Most High! The only sacrifice I want is for you to be thankful and to keep your word.
Psa 50:15 Pray to me in time of trouble. I will rescue you, and you will honor me.
Is He weak as I am? (Psa_4:2)
Could be "fooled" like I am? (Mat_15:8)
He made a decision with an oath (Exo_34:27; Lev_26:45), not for being weak, just for
our faults and
weakness.
Isa 48:9 I, the LORD, am
true to myself; I will be praised for not punishing and destroying you.
Isa 48:10 I tested you in hard times just as silver is refined in a heated furnace.
Isa 48:11 I did this
because of who I am.
I refuse to be dishonored or share my praise with any other god.
(Eze 20:44)
