We had a record rainfall in Texas this month. Check this out:

There was so much rain, we had a mote around our complex, no lie! A big green and orange Painted Turtle showed up in the mote and gave the neighborhood a thrill. It was HUGE!
And then we got an 11" Laredo Striped Whiptail (lizard) hanging around the property. They're usually way south of us! It rained almost every day for three weeks straight. The worst part was the humongous beetles, wasps, bees and flying Palmetto bugs that tried to get into our houses to get outta the rain. NO WAY, JOSE!!! No creepy crawlies allowed!!!

It's been 100 degrees plus here for a while. I have several
trees down, a bunch of tree limbs, just a big old mess.
God is in control, no matter what.
