*stares at glittery butterfly ^_^*
Nahhhh, I know I'm lacking in that department because I retreat a lot. Thank you very much for your sweet words, dear Melita. But that's why I value lovely vibrant friends like you so much. True friends are a gift from God and an inspiration because they encourage people to come out of their funk and rejoin the world again. I'm a wimp a lot of times, always running and hiding under the Lord's banner of love. Mostly because I don't want to react to my dumb flesh so I sit & sulk under the shadow of God's wings till He gets my mind screwed on straight again. LOL

Yes, that's where my kids' attend over here and where my oldest daughter was this past semester. She went to london every weekend for her ministry. She feels called scotland though

Scotland is full of tradition, very rugged away from the cities, but also cold.

I have visited Edinburgh a few times during the spring. Even then all the shops
were selling thick Shetland wool jumpers!

Bless your heart......that is a lot of work and you know I would much rather do stuff on the outside of the house than on the inside....I am not much of a house keeper either so I can relate to your Mom....I am much better at other things... I really need to hire a house cleaner.....Willie gave me the name an number of a lady I really should call.

But it will be so much better once you get all that stuff cleaned out... Your parents have a great daughter......Thank you for helping them out you are a blessing to them....
Actually I prefer the inside work. (I love to clean and I don't mind cooking and doing the laundry) :)

The outside stuff well that's mixed. I don't mind the gardens but I really don't like mowing the lawn or trying to crash tree branches on my head. :p

My father passed away 5 years ago so... but the cleaning up the place is taking longer then I thought it would. :(
But the good part is that after I get done with the back property line the trimming is done except for yearly maintanence and that will help a lot and then the flowers gardens will all be planted with perennials and that too will help.
:)

Well I'm glad it went well with the vampires.

They took so much from me yesterday, I asked if
they were selling it. The tect. didn't like that at all,
well, so be it, she'll get over it.
Some folks just don't have a sense of humor......I pity them.....:)

Ps maybe you could start a "men behaving badly" thread.

In our church there are nearly 400 small groups, one of them is
called men behaving Godly :)

I think you guys like to go into battle and be the warriors.... we gals like to stay in the oasis of comfort and peace and only venture out getting a few war wounds and running back to Speak to lick them and eventually venture out again.... So continue on the front lines guys..... You need a place to crash and recoup you just come back here.....where it is safe and love abounds and friendships are formed......

NO this is not a chick flick thread..... but we do serve coffee, pie, cookies and breakfast a lot of the time.....and chatter all of the time....

We Brits don't do heat very well.

No air con, we slog away at work in oven like offices.

Then we sit outside and go beetroot red.

Rain we can cope with, but heat makes us all do mad things.

Just been listening to the news and it said today has been the hottest day
in July ever since records began in the UK. It reached 98f in the shade in the
hottest areas.

See, we do sun as well.:)

The lowest temperature ever reached was a few winters ago when it was
-16c

I remember that winter, I got a quick shower one morning then set off for work
without drying my hair, only it started to go chrispy and hard in the cold!
