I'll answer yours though. My moral compass is the Holy Spirit. I accept the bible to be the word of God and I have the Spirit of Christ within me that convicts truth in me and informs me of right from wrong. However, I'm just one out of 300+ million Americans. I would be naive to expect all 300+ million to have the same beliefs and moral compass as me. I am a Christian and a champion of liberty.

Twisting God's creation, marriage, is sinning. Gay parents have been proven to make their adopted/surrogate children more likely gay. A culture more accepting of gays and gay marriage means more gays. Didnt think you needed me to hold your hand.

Now Sub this is a biblical principal that you might not understand...but Christ does not call us to go out and find the sin in sinners...but He does call us to uphold and promote what is good and to be good citizens, and never promote or encourage evil in any way. Now a good Christian is a good citizen that desires the best for our society and the children of our society. As citizens and as Christians we have ever right and responsibility to defend the moral standards of our society.

Someone presented this theory to me and I am evaluating it.

I wanted to run this by some of you, but I can see that would likely be an exercise in futility.

You YECs have your head too far in the sand to even get past the fact that the world is older than 6,000 years, there was no global flood around 4400 years ago, and dinosaurs did not coexist with humans.

Why argue this stuff on a Christian forum then? There are others like you, who twist the Word to suit their desires. Go discuss such nonsense with them.

For us here, Romans 1:24-32 speak very clearly, and without doubt, that these unnatural relations are truly sinful.
Jude 1:7 continues in making this clear.

There is no excuse for such sin. Only the possibility of repentance unto forgiveness, but not excuse.

Do you believe that fallen angels came to earth and seduced human women as some say Genesis 6 says?

Romans 1 refutes it very clearly.
There is no "hard time" unless you don't have access to the Scriptures...
but seeing as you are posting on the internet...
you have access to Biblegateway, Biblehub, and and extensive list of other free online Bible sites, each with multiple versions and lexicons and concordances and alternate rendering lists.

The rendering of Gen 6 has NOTHING to do with the application of Jude 1, unless a person is trying to discredit the entire book as fabricated.

There is a simplicity to this debate.
You either are for,
or against
the Word.
Because the Greek is clear. The Hebrew is clear. And the English is clear.
Oh unbeliever! look and live!
This matter is not really about gay rights, it is about having Faith in the revealed Word of God.

Will you only take the parts of the Word that benefit you, and make you feel good, and throw the rest away?!?
REPENTANCE is turning your mind TO God, and AWAY from yourself.
Instead, you are trying to turn God into what you believe He should be.

This is from the commentary in my NKJV Nelson Study Bible on Jude, verse 6:

Some think that these angels are the "the sons of God" of Gen. 6:2 who took on human form and married women before the Flood.

And how does that affect verse 7, or Romans 1:24-32?
 
I'm waiting to hear an explanation as to how any homosexuality can be considered righteous, before the weight of Romans 1:24-32
And how Jude 1:6 affects Jude 1:7-8 if taken literally.
