If they are it will be for remembrance or thanksgiving in the Millennial Temple. But I wouldn't die a martyr over the issue :)
I did read Ezekeil 40:38-43 and I must have read at some time because I have it marked in my Bible, and, the layout of the temple does make provision for sacrifices.

Found it interesting that in verse 37 there are palm trees (I guess painted) on the posts and that is one of the things that is used in the feast of tabernacles.

So do you think sacrifices will be re-instituted?

It amazes me that in light of the NT, anyone could interpret OT prophetic riddles to mean animal sacrifices will be reinstituted.

Just what does it take for someone to see the falseness of such theology--recrucifixion of Christ?

Actually, the reinstitiution of animal sacrifices is mention even in the NT. The NT and OT are in perfect agreement with eachother. :)

Mark me if I am wrong, but not all sacrifices are for sin. People ate and celebrated, and also it was for the sustenance of the ministry unto God. (Feeding the Levities and the people together) For example, the burned offering represents devotion to God, and the peace offerings represent a connection with God in communication with Him.

Yes. When Noah offered his sacrifice, God "smelled the pleasing aroma of the burnt offering". Even if you're not offering a sacrifice to make atonement for sin, you can still just offer it as a gift. I personally look forward to bringing some animals up to the temple mount some day. Worshipping the lord is a pleasure, not a burden.

And you think we will return to images of Christ when we have the reality of Christ?

I don't get it.

So you think the sacrifices were a pleasing aroma because God liked beef?

I try to avoid reading anything sensational ever since I was taken in by Hal Lyndsey's Late Great Planet Earth way back in the 70s

See Heb 3:11-12, 10:21, 11:1, 13, 39.

All disobedience is unbelief.

I don't know anything about the book, but.....

My wife and I are observing the Shimitah this year. We just bought a new place with some acreage and we have decided to let the land rest before we do anything other than water it. We'll get the barn going and ready for animals, but we won't do anything in the ground until the fall, except water it.
