And one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, seeking to speak to thee. 48. But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? 49. And he stretched forth his hand towards his disciples, and said, Behold, my mother and my brethren! 50. For whosoever shall do the will of my Father who is in heaven, he is my brother, and sister, and mother. (Matthew 12:46-50)

So who is you true family?

People's according to the flesh, or people's according to the Spirit?

My true family is those who fill the will of God.
 
Matthew chapter 10 verses 34 thru 37

Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Jesus, while quoting the prophet Micah, reminded us all that we are never to hold any human relative in a higher regard than we hold Him. In fact, He warned that because of the very gospel message which He came to bring a man's foes would more than likely include those of his own household.

Micah chapter 7 verses 5 thru 7

Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.
For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.
Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

You seems to rise the family of the flesh as important than the family in the Messiah?

Don't you know that, those who fill the will of God, are members of the same body, and so true family?

Of course we should respect also the family according to the flesh, but if that family do not follow the Lord Yeshua, then it can't be our true family.

The true family should be those who fill the will of God, despite of are they family according to the flesh or not.

The true family is in the Messiah Yeshua.
 
Also this goes to prove that Jesus did not look up to His mother as being anymore important than any other saint,which Jesus even went as far as to point to His disciples and say behold My mother,and brethren,and sisters.

Jesus was giving a sermon and a woman blurted out basically,blessed is the woman who gave birth to you,and Jesus said,yea rather,blessed is he that hears the word of God and does it.

Some people like to exalt Mary above other saints and put her on a pedestal,but Jesus told us not to do that,and when His mother and brethren wanted to talk to Him and Jesus pointed to His disciples He is saying,His mother and brethren are no more important than this crowd He is speaking to.

Jesus Himself took care of His earthly family and His heavenly family...........why should we do any different?

I'm not a big fan of self righteousness...........
