Things that I have done do not make me to be "Christian" neither a believer. I´m sure that, according to people´s stardards I´m too far from being added to their groups or friendship and I appreciate to be segregated from them, particularly when I do not celebrate what the considered their feasts, such as X-mas or their Easter...

Few hours ago I saw one man picking a piece of cracker from the floor. I wasn´t sure to what I was seen, so I did this, a thing Christins have done much more better than this segregated sinner.

The more I know me, the more I see I'm different.
I do not regret that, on the contrary, particularly on the area of beliefs and on the things done.

I used to think why some Biblical characters insisted on Aram or their relatives outside Palestine: They sought their own and, when you find yourselves living in a place you don't belong, you surely know what to do, next.

I'm thankful for the Bible and many of its teachings: If I failed I failed, if I won, one day I will see what was the reward (to enjoy it alone).

If I was more Christian like and less rethoric, I could make these two songs a PRACTICAL thing applied on those who are in need of knowing the ONE I think (and hope) would save me from my sins and wrongs.

What makes you to be a Christian?

Are your basic needs above those not yet converted to the Lordship of Christ?

Are you totally aware that "you basic needs" are too similar to those unbelievers have?

You need a job

You need something to work for and somebody to fight for.

You need to love and, additionally (like unbelievers) you also feel the joy of being loved.

What does it make you to be better than those not yet converted to the lordship of Christ Jesus?

They long to laugh

They long to be healed and, sometimes, Christianity do not admit the need to be totally healed.

What does it make you to feel better?

What does it make me "to be better" than those not yet reached for Christ?

I went out and traveled on the subway...

Most of them were (or looked) unhappy and pushed...

Do they work for money or to serve their appetites? (particularly a Friday)

Why do they feel the need to be better dressed on Fridays?

You could see how many of them love to use more makeup...

You could smell the scent of anything that could be faked?

What´s the Christian attitude (and attire) a believer should assume his / her way?

What does it make me to be "better"? Self righteousness? (or God´s, instead)

When Adam was in the Garden... Where his heart was?

When he saw the Creation, when he named each creature, where his mind was?

I know where my mind is...

Is it attending a church?

Your beliefs or disbeliefs?

Is it believing in Jesus as Lord and saviour or believing (or obeying) what others told you to believe and obey?

The Bible shows 1st Christian belilevers were plenty of works done by the Hand of God... What is "limiting" Him now?

1st "little Christos" were known by their ways and deeds... Aren´t we known same way?
Rebirth by the Holy Spirit makes us a Christian.

mightily loving, submitting, serving the One who created us,
He's always first in any situation that comes our way -
this fine-tunes us as separate from the world.

In answer to the original question, the best way I can express it is through song,
mostly children's songs.

If you know them feel free to join in :)

The love of Jesus is so wonderful
The love of Jesus is so wonderful
The love of Jesus is so wonderful
Oh wonderful love.

So high you can't get over it
So low you can't get under it
So wide you can't get around it
Oh wonderful love.

----

A robe of white, a crown of gold,
A harp, a home, a mansion fair.
A victor's crown, a joy untold,
Are mine when I get there.

---

God sent his son, they called him Jesus
He came to love, heal and forgive
He lived and died to buy my pardon
And life is worth the living just because he lives.

Because he lives I can face tomorrow
Because he lives all fear is gone
Because I know, I know he holds the future
And life is worth the living just because he lives.

Being a Christian is being in Christ. Being in Christ is believing the gospel and His word to be true which gives salvation (whosoever shall confess with his mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in his heart...). A RESULT of this is good works. You shall know the tree by its fruit. A tree that brings forth fruit doesn't mean the tree is good because he is able to bring forth fruit; no, the fruit is a result of what the tree truly is (a Christian). That's what I believe.

Agree on!

What U stated looks like being written according to James.

A fruitless tree serves for nothing, except for shadows. ;D

Very well re-stated!

Was it being saved from future damnation? Wrong selfish motivation.

Was it to please ppl and those around to get the feeling of belonging? Wrong, too.

It is to please the ONE who loves us, honeypot.
