you know what always happens to me in circumstances like these?
i begin to doubt God. ('cause i'm a bit of a dope like that :rolleyes:)
but He reminds me of His promises and His faithfulness, and reassures me He loves me and will never leave me.

that's my prayer for you, dear one, that you will seek Him and hear Him tell you,
'it's okay to not hold on, precious child, my arms are right underneath you and I will always be with you'.

as the house seems quieter and quieter, I miss it. I really do. We had a house full the other day when a family stopped by just to say hi, and the 2 yo twins just circled the front of the house laughing. The mom was embarrassed the sighed a sense of relief when I told her how much I missed the noise.

I think that's why I want to sail through these school years, so I can spend as much other time as I can with her. sigh they grow up SO fast.

I'm SO ready for grands.....well you know.

my sister had five (her son died at 9) and was widowed the year before that.
she raised her 4 girls, who are awesome!!
her youngest is the only one left at home and she just turned 17 and is homeschooled and doing college simultaneously.

but.... she just had her fifth grandbaby in under 5 years and they all live in NC within 25 minutes of one another.
she is one busy grandma.

the noise, even the planning of the curricula, the mess, the chaos...
eh, who am i kidding, we still have plenty of mess and chaos!

homeschooling is kinda like a beautiful mess. (not for everyone, people do their own thing for their own reasons)
when it's happening some days you're like, whyyy in the world?? lol

but when it's of God, the puddin' sets well. :)

Thank you. That was a bit comforting.

Unfortunately, it's a lot more than that. I've opened myself to certain things that I contemplated on sharing. Plus there's a lot of confusion and resisting. Thankfully I've not been involved with the said stuff for a little while now.

So, I've posted at how much I'm going to be low on my tuition that I have due in two weeks, and how that amount is low because my mom stole money. Recently, that amount is even lower, because I had to spend 300 dollars on going to the doctor and medicine for an infection. I have a friend that said he would help, but because of this 300 dollars, the amount I will need to ask is even more now. Almost 800 dollars worth. And I've been feeling sick to my stomach because I don't want to ask for so much money like that. Well, I just opened my devotional, and the title for today is"Help for a Heavy Load." And it gives the verse in Numbers 11:17 where is says "The men shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you may not bear it yourself alone." That was just a huge relief to read, and a great reminder that God is definitely with me in this. And to any of you that may be going through some sort of crisis, this is for you too. When we give Jesus the things that are weighing us down, He gives us wisdom and support in return. Just a great reminder for all of us.

Just got back from my visit with April. She's not feeling to good,
she asked me to pray with her, I did. When I left, she said she was
feeling better. We colored some, then read her a story about a whale.
If you will, please pray for her, her mom & dad. They are a little bit
concerened, I guess I would be to, not knowing. I told them I would
ask all of you to pray for them.

She's having a lot of pressure on the brain today. The tumor is larger than
a baseball. The headaches are what's making her cry. The only thing
they can do, is to give her pain meds.

Yes, I'm concerened, that child means so much to me. I don't know why, I
really don't know a lot about her. God put her in my life for a reason, just
don't know why, yet.

She goes into the operating room at 7:00 am Monday.
I asked how long, no one knows, so, I plan on being there
when she goes in, and being there when she comes
out of recovery. Thats the only thing I can do. I will
be praying the whole time she's back there.

Thank you, I know you will be praying. You are like me,
you love kids. We did take her 20 Bible story books, she
had her heart set on the whale story, so I read it to her.
They said she would be in there for 8-16 months. With
her being a child, they are going to keep a close eye on
her until the skull grows back, or does it grow back, or
steel plate, I don't know.
