Is that all you can do mwc68? Call people names?

So are you saying mwc68 that the Catholic Church does NOT teach Mary had to be without sin? If you are then it was God who keep Jesus without sin and not Mary!

If Mary did NOT need to be without sin then this says Mary was only a sinner. So why do the Catholics pray the Hail Mary to Mary is she was a sinner?
Mary, Mary, Mary, you think about her more than i do. Oh and yeah, you keep saying I'm going to hell, ill keep calling you a moron, idiot, sob, liar. Yeah, ill do that

But you have said mwc68 that Mary was born without sin. Immaculate conception is what the Catholic Church claims.

God clearly says that Mary was born a sinner. Sinned her whole life. And she died a sinner and is buried in the grave.

I agree with Mike, the Catholic Church is putting the teachings of the Catholic Church above God and His teachings.

Since the Catholic Church does suppress the Truth in unrighteousness the Wrath of God is on the Catholic Church.

Romans 1:18-19
[SUP]18 [/SUP] For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
[SUP]19 [/SUP] because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.

God has shown the Catholics the Truth but because of the unrighteousness of the Catholic Church God has revealed His wrath on to the Catholic Church.

It is sad to see one so deceived by the Catholic Church.

The number 666 in Greek and Hebrew adds up to "Neron Caesar", Nero Caesar.
It's the name of Nero, the Roman Emperor.

John was writing Revelation sometime around 64 AD.

The 4th kingdom in Daniel 2 & 7 is Pagan Rome.
the beasts in Revelation 13 are in the opposite order to Daniel 7

Daniel has the order of:-
1) Lion
2) Bear
3) Leopard

4) Dragon

The first was like a lion
5And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear
6After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard,

7After this I saw in [the night ]visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible,
and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces,
and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts t
hat were before it; and it had ten horns.

Revelation 13:1

1) Dragon

2) Leopard
3) Bear
4) Lion

And [the beast] which I saw was[ like] unto a leopard,
and his feet were as the feet of a bear,
and his mouth as the mouth of a lion:
and [the dragon gave] him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

john sees 7 beasts forward, same as the 7 last horns of daniel,
starting with 4 th little horn, from the ten horns, of danials forth beast kingdom.

john sees things different when looking backwards in time.

(1) And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea,
A gentile world rulling kingdoms[not israel] and ther kings, rising among the people of the world.

having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns,
and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

3And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death;
and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

4 beast kingdom, romen kingdom was dead, but was made alive again by the little horn,
the church healed it and lived again.not some man in the future who dies then lives again.

Revelation 13:15
(15) And he [had power] to give life unto [the image ]of the beast, that the image of the beast
should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

this happen in the past history, the mighty church labeled the jews who keep Gods sabbath ,
and made it law, and the power of rome, tortured or killed them, if they did not recant of
there supposed bad ways.

A Matter of Life and Death

An excerpt from The History of Roman Catholicism: “The Roman Church has adopted as its fundamental principle that it can never err, and the body of the civil law when once chosen by the church, as the basis of its system of ecclesiastical jurisprudence, partook at once of its infallibility, and unchangeableness and became one of its prominent features.

To change it in one of its most unimportant details would be to acknowledge that the church had erred, which is impossible. … Thus the Roman pontiff is clothed with supreme authority, and combines at once in his own sacred person all the functions of the legislative, the judicial, and the executive powers. He has no constitutional restraint, he is absolutely unlimited and without control. …

Remember, this powerful church was prophesied to speak great things. Throughout history, the pope has been referred to as the vicar of Christ. Vicar does not mean Christ’s representative as some assume. It means “in place of” Christ. Those truly are “great words.” The author of the above-mentioned book urges readers who falsely assume a pope would never really exercise his full power to remember the “voice of the past.”

Historic facts show that under Charlemagne, the observance of Sunday within Europe actually became a matter of life or death. Many were put to the sword, burned at the stake, stretched on the rack, or met their end by some other horrible means at the hands of others who literally meant that citizens could not live without Sunday! These unfortunate souls were declared heretics by Rome—but martyrs by historians (including the 16th century’s John Foxe).

Let us hope this pope, Benedict xvi, did not have this long and agonizing history in mind when he uttered that most unfortunate phrase, “We cannot live without Sunday.”

Did you know that the Roman Catholic Church have their own version of the Ten Commandments
Is There Idolatry In The Roman Catholic Church?

-The following from the Catholic Encyclopaedia Vol. 4, p. 153 also confirms the deletion of the second Commandment and the change of the fourth. “The church, after changing the day of rest from the Jewish Sabbath of the seventh day of the week to the first made the third commandment refer to Sunday as the day to be kept holy as the Lord's Day.”

-we can get into a bible discussion about the lords day,and how can the lord of the Sabbath ,
be changed to sun worship day . sunday has nothing to do with, and is not the lords day in the bible.

This truth can also be found from the following URL which you will need to copy and paste into the address bar as links promote search engine ranking and I cannot promote what is not Biblical truth. The Catholic version is the column on the right hand side titled “A Traditional Catechetical Formula.” The URL is Catechism of the Catholic Church - The Ten Commandments

-In 1562 the Archbishop declared that tradition now stood above scripture.
“The authority of the Church is illustrated most clearly by the scriptures, for on one hand she recommends them, declares them to be divine, and offers them to us to be read, and on the other hand, the legal precepts in the scriptures taught by the Lord have ceased by virtue of the same authority.

The Sabbath, the most glorious day in the law, has been changed into the Lord's day.
These and other similar matters have not ceased by virtue of Christ's teaching
(for He says that He has come to fulfill the law, not to destroy it), but they have
been changed by the authority of the Church.” — Gaspare de Posso Archbishop of Reggio, Council of Trent.

-they deleted the second Commandment and changed God's Sabbath to Sunday and split
the tenth Commandment into two to get back to Ten Commandments

I am the Lord your God; you shall not have strange gods before me.
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
Remember to keep holy the Lord's day
Honor your father and your mother.
You shall not kill.
You shall not commit adultery.
You shall not steal.
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
You shall not covet your neighbor's wife.
You shall not covet you neighbor's goods.

The Chief Commandments or Laws, of the Church:
To assist at Mass on all Sundays and holy days of obligation.
To fast and abstain on the days appointed.
To confess our sins at least once a year.
To receive Holy Communion during the Easter time.
To contribute to the support of the Church.
To observe the laws of the Church concerning marriage.

The Roman Catholic Church had nothing to do with changing the Sabbath to Sunday. They may claim that they did, but they make a lot of boastful claims that aren't true. This decision was made well before the Roman Catholic Church as we know existed.

Christians met with the Jews in the synagogue during the earlier years because that is where Scripture was kept..they did not have access to Scriptures of their own in many cases. They met on Sundays to discuss these Scriptures from a Christian context.

The edict of Constantine in AD 321 did not prevent Sabbathkeepers from worshipping on the Sabbath. It merely required Sunday to be observed as a day of rest. Those who thought that the Sabbath still applied could rest on Saturday if they wanted. The vast majority of Christians were already meeting on the Sabbath well prior to 150 AD, anyways, so this edict affected few. Even SDA historian Samuele Bacchiocchi admitted this in his book "From Sabbath to Sunday", despite the story that Ellen G. White and the Seventh Day Adventist weaved in this regard.

In regards to the decision at Laodicea in AD363, the decision regarding Judaizing on the Sabbath was decided well before the Roman Catholic Church as we know it existed. Rome was only one of several bishoprics of the Church and had no such power. They had this kind of power after about 600 AD but not until then. So, blaming the Sabbath issue on the Catholic church is not historically tenable.

I don't believe the church should have made their decision concerning Judaizing but they were probably facing heretics as we do today which teach that the Old Covenant and ceremonial and ritualistic elements of it still apply to New Covenant Christians. We are not the nation of Israel, and were never parties to that covenant. Besides that, it is obsolete.

Connecting Daniel 7:25 to the Sabbath rulings by the church is not reasonable. You don't know who those verses apply to, and what they apply to. They seem to have an end-time fulfillment rather than a fulfillment in history with the Catholic Church, as the verses afterwards speak of end-time events preceding the return of Christ.

Again, these sorts of assertions are an attempt to discredit Christians who meet on Sunday, usually made by cults who claim to be the true faith.

Colossians 2:16-17 says not to allow others to judge us for that. These verses also say that the Sabbath and Holy days are shadows, which is the same language that Hebrews 10:1-2 uses. In addition, the Old Covenant is done away with so, these ceremonial and ritualistic aspects of the Law apply, and neither should you be judging Christians for your views on them.

Christians met with the Jews in the synagogue during the earlier years because that is where Scripture was kept..they did not have access to Scriptures of their own in many cases. They met on Sundays to discuss these Scriptures from a Christian context. They were kicked out of the synagogues in about AD90 by the Jews. This incident relates to the Eighteen Benedictions which were required recitation in the synagogues. One of the points was anti-Christian so they could not recite it in good conscience. They simply discontinued meeting with the Jews on Sabbath and continued meeting amongst themselves on Sunday.

We are not the nation of Israel, and were never parties to that covenant. Besides that, it is obsolete.

Rome was only one of six or so bishoprics of the church at that time. It did not have the power to make that sort of decision. This is a conspiracy theory that some Sabbathkeepers have perpetuated. The origin is with the founders of the Seventh Day Adventist church, particularly Ellen G. White and Joseph Bates. Those who perpetuate it tend to claim that the Mark of the Beast is Sabbath-breaking and claim that both Catholicism and Protestantism is a counterfeit form of Christianity. While I agree that the Roman Catholic church is an apostate church, evangelical Protestantism is not.

In addition, the Old Covenant is done away with so, these ceremonial and ritualistic aspects of the Law apply, and neither should you be judging Christians for your views on them.

Danial labels rome as the beast kingdom, and John backs him up.

the cathlic church took the image of the beast kingdom.

and he [had power] to give life unto [the image ]of the beast, that the image of the beast
should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

no I do not mean to offend anyone meeting on sunday,

but the bible says
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

and that is something everyone should do. so posting history on the holy roman empire,
on the thread - Catholic Heresy (for the record) I so not try to be insulting to people.
but believe the truth on things in church history should be told, and warnings given.

p.s. and thank you for not putting the word colt, in front of the word Sabbath.

Daniel 2 a vision of a great image representing four successive kingdoms.

History proves these to be the Chaldean Empire, followed by the Persian,
then the Greco-Macedonian, and finally the Roman Empire.
These four were to continue right up to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Daniel 7, the prophet describes four beasts, representing four Gentile kingdoms,
but with special attention on the fourth—the Roman Empire.

This beast has 10 horns, which says “are ten kings that shall arise”
out of, or after, the Roman Empire (verse 24).

Daniel also describes a “little horn” which grew among the 10 horns
and uprooted the first three (verse 8).

in Revelation 13 discusses one beast—which represents the fourth, the Roman Empire.
John lived during the rule of the Roman Empire when he wrote the book of Revelation,
the three previous kingdoms. They were already fulfilled prophecy!

a beast with seven heads and 10 horns, one head of which received a deadly wound.
Historians agree that the Roman Empire existed from 31 b.c. to a.d. 476,

at which point the kingdom was crushed. It died. But its deadly wound was healed as prophesied.
to be 10 resurrections to come out of that Roman Empire (just as Daniel said),
the first three of which were plucked up by the roots by the “little horn”

that they were not altogether Roman, but nevertheless ruled within the
ancient Roman territory after the empire collapsed. And that’s what happened.
Three barbaric tribes did rule in the region before Justinian restored the Roman Empire
in a.d. 554 and effectively healed the deadly wound.

in Revelation 17 ,a beast with seven heads, but none of these heads is wounded.
a woman, the Bible symbolizes as a church, is riding the beast.

She is called a whore in verse 1, and therefore symbolizes a great false church
which rides, or heavily influences, this political beast.

When Justinian recognized the supremacy of the pope in 554, the Roman Empire was revived. And because of its close association with the great false church, this empire eventually assumed the name Holy Roman Empire. Counting Justinian’s empire, there have been six major, historically documented resurrections of the so-called Holy Roman Empire—all of which have been heavily influenced, and in some cases dominated, by the Vatican.

Why are you accusing people who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ of being part of a counterfeit Christianity?

The Sunday church I've been attending sponsors 60 orphans in India. They built them a new facility to live recently. The children are receiving a good Christian education and food and clothing.

I am not bragging on me; I am bragging on them. I have been on disability and my giving has been minimal.

What do Armstrongite cults do to alleviate the suffering of the poor and need? What do you do to alleviate the suffering of the poor and needy? You need to stop throwing stones at people that Jesus bought with his blood, who are living out their faith in a real tangible way.

no I do not mean to offend anyone meeting on sunday,

but the bible says
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

and that is something everyone should do. so posting history on the holy roman empire,
on the thread - Catholic Heresy (for the record) I so not try to be insulting to people.
but believe the truth on things in church history should be told, and warnings given.

p.s. and thank you for not putting the word colt, in front of the word Sabbath.
